CHAPTER FIFTEEN Duncan and I stopped to gape at what Percy indicated. His arm was stretched out toward a deep and wide hole underneath the side wall. A mound of dirt a foot high had been piled up in a haphazard arc around our side of the hole, and a half dozen blocks littered the area. Duncan and I moved in closer and looked over the mound.
