Merger

"Stretch forth your hand" Korra said. She also stretched her hand over the table towards Ren Song. Ren Song eyed her hand. "Is physical contact necessary?"  Korra smirked. "Do you think I am planning something? You know, not everyone is like you right?" Ren Song smiled widely and said with arrogance; "No one is like me" Korra shook her head. "I am not going to betray you. If I wanted to do anything to you I would not need any tricks" This comment made Ren Song's eye twitch. It was like saying he was not worth her time. His anger was rising again. "Can we just do this without any of your nonsense?" Ren Song stared at Korra. 'This cheeky b***h! She has been disrespectful ever since I came here! But...." Ren Song's thought trailed off. He knew he could do nothing against her, since in this space she was the ultimate power. Sighing, Ren Song stretched forth his hand. Seeing this, Korra quickly grabbed his hand. She griped it tightly. Ren Song was stunned. He immediately tried to pull out his hand, but he could not. "Wh-what are you!" Suddenly, a blinding light shot out of Korra's body and into the space above them. The atmosphere above them darkened. Slowly but surely, Korra begun to disintegrate into pure light. It was like she was becoming energy itself. Ren Song was stunned as he watched this. His white taoist dress begun to tear off. A strong wind begun to blow about. The wind slapped had into Ren Song's face and caused his beard and mustache to float in the air. This continued for about thirty minutes. After a while, Korra had completely transformed into a floating ball of light. The energy that emanated from the ball of light was like nothing Ren Song had ever seen. Ren Song now understood that Korra could have easily slaughtered him without even thinking about it. This thing called a divine soul was monstrously strong. The energy that emanated from the ball of light could easily collapse the whole universe. The only reason why the space they were in had not been destroyed was because it was being sustained by Korra. The aura from the ball of light caused Ren Song's mouth to hang open. It was neither good nor evil. But it was strong. Suddenly, the ball of light shot straight towards Ren Song and entered into his forehead. Ren Song's head shot back as his eyes begun to turn completely white. The power begun to burn him from the inside out. He roared loudly as the merger continued. His top was completely torn off. His bulky muscles and numerous scars were out in the open. A white aura suddenly begun to emanate from Ren Song's body. It enveloped him and begun to seep down into his skin. It was like it was bonding with him. ............... Heather sat in a chair that was beside the bed of her daughter. She had an extremely worried look on her face. This was because ever since Korra had decided to rest she had not woken up again. It had already been three day and nothing. The only thing that happened was the occasional groan that escaped Korra's lips coupled with the profuse sweating. "Doctor Valco, can you tell what is wrong with her" a voice called out from the other side of Korra's bed. It was Zeid. Beside him stood a man wearing a long brown dress. He spotted a white beard and mustache. He also wore glasses which made him look extremely smart. It was Doctor Valco! The one who had tried to help Korra at the beginning. Doctor Valco had a frown on his face as he watched Korra pant heavily in her unconscious state. He had not seen anything like this before. He had run all the diagnostics he knew, but he did not find anything wrong with the girl's body. Her body was in good condition, so what was wrong? Doctor Valco shook his head at Zeid's questions. "I don't know what is wrong with her. Her body is perfectly healthy.... This is intriguing, it is almost like...." Doctor Valco trailed off. "Like what?" Heather asked in a worried tone.  "Nothing. It was just a stupid quest" Zeid narrowed his eyes. "What do you mean 'nothing'? You are the doctor of the royal family, there is no way your opinion is simply 'nothing'!" Doctor Valco stared at Zeid for a while and then sighed. "Well... This situation reminds me of a certain case I handled a very long time ago. But I can guarantee you that they are not the same" "What makes you say that?" Zeid asked. "Well, even though the person I treated had the same symptoms as her, there was one large difference between them." "What? What difference?" "That person's soul was attacked by a demon" Doctor Valco said with narrowed eyes. "But that's impossible since there are no demons in this area" "Ah!" Heather suddenly jolted up in fear. "Heather, why? What's wrong?" "A-a few months ago, I felt a very strong killing intent!" She said in a shaky voice. Zeid's expression changed to a thundering rage. "How strong?" "V-valtos level strong..." Heather murmured. "WHAT?" Both Zeid and Doctor Valco blurted out. Of course they would do that. Who in the whole human continent did not know the battle of Valtos. One of the most historic moment that ever took place in their world. The time their world was saved from the demons. Saying 'Valtos level strong' was equal to saying the demon king had resurrected. Of course this was impossible. The demon king was killed by the heroes of the human continent.  Obviously what Heather was talking about was Korra's killing intent and had nothing to do with the current situation. They did not know this though. "That is impossible Heather" Zeid said after composing himself. "Y-yes. I know bu-" "UURRRGH!!!!" Korra suddenly screamed out loud. Her body begun to convulse on the bed.  "Tch. Damn it. Zeid help me hold her down!" Doctor Valco said. He and Zeid quickly held Korra unto the bed. Heather quickly got up and clasped her fingers together. She muttered something and immediately her eyes turned completely pink. A pink glow wrapped around her hand. She unclasped her hand and placed it into Korra's chest. "Heather! You can't use that now! Your seal is st-" "Shut up Valco! What do you expect me to do when my daughter is like this?" Heather said with pure rage. Zeid said nothing and simply watched his wife. The pink aura left her hand and surrounded Korra's body. After a while, Korra calmed down. All the adults in the room heaved a huge sigh. Suddenly Heather stumbled and almost fell to the ground. Zeid caught her in time. "You need to rest. Stressing the seal like that is dangerous!" "I know, but I can't leave my daughter like this." "You don't have to worry about that" Doctor Valco said. "Huh?" Both Zeid and Heather responded. "Look" he nodded his head towards Korra's direction. When the parents turned their heads, they saw Korra lying on the bed. Her eyes were wide open!
