True Revelation

Korra looked straight into Ren Song's eyes. Ren Song was still stuck in the air. He couldn't move.
"Girl, put me down before I wipe your soul from this world" Ren Song said in a domineering tone.
Korra snorted at him.
"Yeah, right. Because you are the one who has the power here!" The sarcasm in Korra's voice would piss anyone off.
Ren Song clenched his teeth deeply. He did not want to concede. He was the Supreme Cultivation Demon! He had never bowed to anyone before. But now, a girl was forcing him to concede. He was royally pissed off.
He narrowed his eyes as he said;
"Do not think you scare me girl. I will not entertain your foolishness"
He stared right back at Korra. Korra did not even flinch at that. Instead something strange happened.
A strange force begun to descend upon the space they were in. The whole space shook from the pressure. Korra's golden irises glinted.
"I have had enough with that conceited nature of yours. I just wanted to play with you, but you attacked me!"
Korra's demeanor had changed back to one of a playful child who was angry at an adult for taking her toys.
"I don't have time to be playing around." Ren Song screamed out.
Korra sighed.
"I'm sorry. I didn't even show you respect as an elderly"
Korra said with regret and guilt.
Ren Song smiled.
'I've got here! After all, she is still just a child'
"Yeah whatever. Just put me down girl."
Korra obliged and lowered her hand down. Ren Song also landed gently on the ground.
"Now, talk"
"Wait!"
"What now?" Ren Song asked with clear irritation.
"Well... We can't talk without tea right?"
"Huh?" Ren Song replied.
Ignoring Ren Song's perplexed look, Korra snapped her fingers. Immediately, a large white table and two chairs appeared. The white table was filled with sweets and a cup of tea for both of them.
"Have a seat" Korra said.
Ren Song pulled back a chair and sat down. His eyes never strayed away from Korra. Korra also took her seat.
"So-"
"Wait!"
"WHAT NOW?!"
"B- but.... I just wanted to tell you to take a sip of your tea!" She said with a sniff.
Ren Song sighed and face palmed.
'Calm down, calm down. You need the information from the little girl'
"Okay" Korra said while taking a deep breath. "Let us begin". Her childish demeanor had completely changed to that of a regal domineering queen.
"I am sure you are very confused, yes?"
Ren Song did not reply. He simply stared at her. Korra simply smiled.
"Let me start from the beginning. So as you know, due to the physique I possessed, I died. And my soul begun to disperse from my body"
"I know all that"
"Yes. But what you don't know is that the moment my soul was about to completely disappear, you saved me."
"I? Saved you?" Ren Song asked skeptically.
"Yes you did. Although it was not intentional. You see, have you not ever wondered something. Why would a child born from the primal power of the universe only possess a godly physique?"
Ren Song remained silent. Initially, he did not understand the question, but now he had seen that he was a fool. How did he not think about this? How could he have been so careless?
Korra saw the look on Ren Song's face. This made her smile.
"It seems that you have finally realized. It is only natural that if my body is godly, my soul should also be!"
Ren Song took a deep breath.
"How is that possible?"
"Well... Its had to explain. As you know, any humanoid being can be born with the primal god essence. This grants the user the primal god physique. But the essence doesn't only supply the body, but the soul too. You see when a person with primal god essence is born, their soul is forged into godhood. Boundless knowledge, secrets and soul power is placed into the soul. The problem is that, all these soul abilities are locked. They are only unlocked as the users powers grow stronger."
Ren Song's old eyes lighted up at this revelation. He was truly marveled. As a sage that always sought knowledge, this was highly valuable to him. He looked at Korra and spoke out;
"Soo... What does that have to do with you?"
"Haah.... Are you an i***t?"
Ren Song's eyes twitched. He hated it when the girl's demeanor changed. It made it difficult to manipulate her.
Korra continued.
"I am the divine expression of Korra's soul. Since my soul completely dissipated, I am truly dead. The soul of a primal child has the divine soul, which contains all the soul power, and the true consciousness. The true consciousness, is the person's being and essence. The divine soul is simply the expression of their soul power. Still, divine souls are exclusive to primal children"
"So... What you are saying is that you are actually dead, and this is just a sliver of your consciousness."
"Yes. Since the true consciousness is relatively weaker, it dissipated first, which caused my death. But before my divine soul could dissipate, you transmigrated into my body. This sudden interference in the natural laws of the world gave me the ability to momentarily break the shackles of death"
Ren Song's eyes widened the more Korra explained. Break the shackles of death? Just how monstrous was this divine soul? Ren Song was somewhat shaken. Even so, his arrogant demeanor did not waver.
"I see. Interesting.... Now to more pressing issues" Ren Song paused and sipped his tea. "Why did you summon me here?"
"To kill you" Korra replied nonchalantly.
Ren Song froze. His red eyes blazed with the fury of a thousand suns. His monstrous aura boiled up widen him.
Korra waved her hand tiredly and dispersed Ren Song's aura.
"Oh calm down! I was just kidding. I'm actually here to make a deal."
Ren Song calmed down.
"A deal?"
"Yes."
Ren Song narrowed his eyes in suspicion.
"Why would you need to make a deal? With your power, you can simply eradicate my soul from your body and take it back."
Korra scowled.
"Were you not listening to me? Only the true consciousness part of the soul can control the body!"
"True" Ren Song nodded. "So what do you propose?"
"I have been watching you. I have seen all the ill intent you have towards my family and friends. If I didn't stop you multiple times with the pain in your chest, they would all be dead by now. I don't want any of the people I care about to die, but if I eradicate your soul, my divine soul will also dissipate. The only solution is......" Korra paused and looked Ren Song straight in the eye. "To merge our souls"
"Merge our souls?" Ren Song asked with a frown.
"Yes. We can merge our souls. Don't worry, if we actually merge I would just become your divine soul. Meaning, you will still be in control of my body"
"You mean my body" Ren Song said in his deep raspy voice.
"Sure what ever"
"I see your point. But why would I do that? Why would I help you?"
"You don't have a choice. Even you can not cultivate your true consciousness to be godly. You can only cultivate the divine soul. Not to mention, you will gradually receive all the secrets and knowledge of the universe"
Ren Song frowned. There was still something bugging him. He was a sage that had lived for years. He could easily tell if someone was stronger than him. And this girl was. Not to mention, he could sense that everything she had told him was the truth. The only problem he had now was.....
"I know what you are worried about" Korra called out.
"You don't have to be though.... As a divine soul, I only seek balance. I do not dictate right or wrong. If you merge with me, your soul will not be influenced.... However...." Korra trailed off.
"Hmm? What?"
"Even though I care little for what is right and wrong, I am still Korra Wolfhead at my core. This means, when it comes to relationships, friends and family. Your emotions and thought process will be widely influenced"
Ren Song frowned. This is what he dreaded the most. Acquiring useless emotions.
"Don't jump to conclusions just yet. Don't you think it is a fair trade? I only ask to influence your soul in matters only relating to family, relationships and friends while you receive powerful knowledge and a godly soul. This will at least keep my friends and family safe"
Ren Song scowled at her. Even so, Ren Song knew that Korra was right. If he wanted to become strong and get his revenge on the cultivation realm, he needed to be extremely strong. A divine soul coupled with universal secrets would greatly benefit him. He could easily gain such power, only for the price of receiving a few emotions in his soul. That seemed beneficial to him.
After thinking about it for awhile, he was convinced. He looked at Korra with his old weary eyes and stroked his white beared.
"Fine. I accept the offer."
Korra smirked.
"Well, then let us begin the merging process shall we?"
