The lightning blade shot through the air straight towards Gilbert. The purple lightning was made entirely out of mana. It was the skill, Thunder Qi! Thunder Qi was a transformative technique that Korra had manufactured all by herself in her past life. The skill temporarily reformed the structure of the bones and muscles to contain large amounts of qi. Before the qi is transferred to the bones and muscles, it is instantaneously refined into pure thunder qi.  In other words even if one knew the skill, operating it was highly difficult. It was not an easy task to instantly refine your qi into an elemental type qi. This was the skill Korra was using. It was one of her trump cards. Unfortunately for her, she was very young. Therefore her body, which was already highly injured, could not take the force of such a high grade technique. Swish! Zzzwippp!!! The lightning shot through Gilbert's head.  Boom! His head exploded. Blood and brain matter littered the ground. Gilbert's fat body swayed gently, then tumbled to the ground with a large thud! Korra heaved a huge sigh as she stumbled forward. She balanced herself and walked towards where Rufus was. 'Haaah... Haah... That fight... I would have died.... Not to mention my body is badly damaged. I will not be able to cultivate for at least a year. But... It is worth it. My plan has been set in motion" Of course Korra did not save Rufus out of the goodness of her heart. She knew which group the merchant caravan belonged to. The Hovering Sands Merchant Guild. One of the most powerful entities in the economic sector. If she could obtain an individual who worked there, all the resources she needed for the future would be settled. Of course Korra also knew that Rufus didn't have any power in the merchant guild. She intended to make him her slave and give him more power. After all, power determined your position in the merchant group. Actually, Korra did not pick Rufus specifically or anything. She just chose him because he was loosing the battle, and obviously he seemed easy to control. Korra reached Rufus and stared down at him. Rufus shivered. He had not expected this child to win against Gilbert. 'Dam-damn it. She did not die. Ma-maybe I can kill her. She is injured right?' As these thoughts were going through Rufus' head, Korra spoke out. "Look at me." She said in a chilly tone. Rufus didn't move. "I. Said. Look at me!" She didn't shout, but her voice still boomed. Rufus shakily raised his head and made eye contact. Immediately all thoughts of revolting left his mind. There was no way he could go against this monster, no matter how injured she was. Her golden irises glittered in the moonlight, as if to signify the sleeping beast within her. Korra turned around. "Get up. Do what you have to do and meet me in one of the tents" She begun to calmly walk away. When she was faraway from Rufus. She tumbled forward and spewed blood. "Blurgh" She then lost her balance and was about to fall down. Catch! Korra fell onto something soft. She lifted up her eyes and could barely make out Asta's silhouette.  Before she hit the ground, Asta caught her into her arms.  Asta panicked and looked extremely worried. "La-lady Korra! Are you alright? I- I told you it was too dangerous!" Asta wanted to cry. In fact the tears were spilling out. This was not mostly because Korra was injured, rather because she could not do anything during the battle. She was totally useless. She couldn't protect the one person she wanted to protect. "I- I'm sorry... Hick! Hick!.... I was totally useless" "Tch... Yo-you... Are... Being more useless now... Take me somewhere safe" Korra mumbled. She did not have the energy nor the brain power to deal with a slave's emotional nonsense. "Ah! How stupid of me!... I'm so.... hick!... Sorry." Asta quickly adjusted Korra unto her body. She placed Korra's right arm around her neck to support her. Of course, since Asta's stats were relatively high, she did not find it too difficult to carry Korra. She carried Korra away. ............ Heather sat in the house in total frustration. She was worried about Korra. Even though Zeid had attempted to find Korra by temporarily breaking his seal, it was not successful. For some reason the seal had gotten stronger. Due to this, they could not use any magic or skill or aura sense to find their daughter. Not knowing what else to do, Zeid had decided to go out and search for Korra. Of course Heather had wanted to join him but he refused. This greatly infuriated her.  Zeid had to explain to her that she had to stay home in case Korra returned. This actually calmed her down. It had been almost forty minutes since Zeid left. Heather was extremely worried. "Oh... My daughter." ............... Korra sat crossed legged in one of the tents. It was the tent of the caravan master, Gilbert. Her eyes were closed as she focused all her senses on absorbing the mana in the atmosphere. Of course, this was not to cultivate. She was actually circulating the mana throughout her whole body to heal her injuries. She was especially focusing on rebuilding her meridians. It was also called the mana circuits in this world. Her meridians were badly damaged. 'Damn it... Damn it... If I try to cultivate, my internal organs will collapse. Well... If I think about it, this isn't really a bad thing. I was only focusing on cultivation because of the system. But I think I have been too reliant on it. I will take this chance to rebuild my meridians into god meridians and turn my dantian into a whirlpool of qi' Korra sighed. She had alot to do.  'I will reevaluate my plans.' As Korra circulated the mana throughout her body, the energy around her pulsed with power. Her body begun to slowly heal itself. Her internal organs were being repaired slowly.
