Korra stared at Asta's reaction for awhile before getting irritated.
"Hey! We have to get going"
"Y-yes. I-i'm sorry!" Asta said as she tried to compose herself.
She was completely broken down and tired. She still had not fully digested the fact that she had ended the life of a living being.
Gathering all the strength she had left, she pulled herself up from the ground and begun to walk towards Korra.
Seeing this, Korra turned around and begun to walk towards the merchant caravan.
After a while, Korra and Asta had completely left the forest and had arrived at the merchant caravan.
At this time, most of the people were already dead. The body of slaves as well as prominent people were scattered all over the place.
There were various decapitated bodies. The belly of some pregnant women were even torn open. It was a horrifying sight to see. The fire had raged on and completely razed most of the tents and goods to the ground. The scent of iron was thick in the air.
Throughout all this, Korra walked around as if she was not bothered by the situation. Her hands were folded behind her as she slowly made her way throughout the merchant caravan.
Asta simply walked in a dazed state. She had already been drained by the realization that she had killed a person. She had no more energy to be disgusted by the scene before her.
The men in black continued to chase down and s*******r every person in the merchant caravan. Scream after scream filled the air with a melancholic atmosphere.
Swish!
As Korra walked around freely through the merchant caravan, a man clad in black walked out of a tent. He was holding a head in his hand.
It was the head of a woman. The head was bloody. There were no eyes in the eye socket. The mouth was wide agape as if the woman was screaming for help during her last moments.
"Hmm?" The man clad in black turned his attention towards Korra and Asta. He frowned.
'I was sure I cleared this area thoroughly. How did I miss these children? Well.... Let me take care of this quickly'
Woosh!
The assassin shot towards Korra with immense speed. He threw the head he was holding aside and pulled out a dagger. He prepared to s***h Korra. Korra sighed in exasperation.
'Ugh! I am so tired of these idiots attacking me as soon as they see me!!'
Shaking her head, Korra simply smiled. She lifted her hand and mumbled something.
"Blood Curl"
Blosh! Splat!
The head of the assassin exploded. The body of the assassin stood still for a few seconds and then it fell. Korra resumed her walk.

Far away from the commotion, at the outskirts of the Litch Forest, Rufus stood still as he watched the chaos unfold. The chaos he helped bring into fruition.
Gilbert, who was the head of the merchant caravan, used to be his best friend. They had grown up together and had always persevered towards their goals in life. However, Gilbert lucked ambition. He was not willing to do what was necessary to climb the societal ladder.
Rufus had planned many treacherous things in order to secure a more powerful position in the world of the merchants. However, Gilbert always interfered in his dealings. Even so, Gilbert never reported Rufus since he still cared deeply about him. He was like a brother to him.
Rufus sighed in sadness. Of course he did not want to kill his best friend. But he had to. He had something he wanted to accomplish no matter what and he was not going to let something as petty as friendship spoil his plans.
If that was the case, Rufus could only get rid of Gilbert.
Shwish!
As Rufus continued to reminisce, a man in black appeared behind him in a swift manner.
"Bane. Do you have him here?" Rufus asked in a cold tone with his back turned towards Bane.
Bane walked slowly towards Rufus while dragging a body on the floor. The person was not dead. It was a chubby person who struggled fiercely to free himself from Bane's grip. Bane was dragging him by the collar of his dress. When Bane got near Rufus he threw the gagged man toward Rufus. Unfortunately, it didn't land infront of Rufus and instead collided straight into a tree.
Swish! Thud!
"Ugh" the chubby figure muffled out.
"That's him. Gilbert, the head of the merchant caravan. Just like you asked."
Rufus glanced at Gilbert without interest. After confirming it was Gilbert, he gave a slight nod.
"Remove the cloth form his mouth, I want to talk to him."
Bane frowned.
"We have a deal. I am working with you, not for you"
Rufus gave a light smirk. He turned towards Bane and opened his mouth.
"Do not test my patience, Bane!" As he said that, there was a powerful energy surge around him. His mana rippled powerfully around him.
Bane backed away slightly.
"Tch, fine. f*****g bastard"
With a grumble, Bane walked towards Gilbert and removed the cloth.
Immediately the cloth came off, he begun to cough heavily. After a while, he calmed down. He lifted his head to look Bane in the eye. His face was contorted in extreme furry as realization dawned on him.
"YOU! Are you behind this?!" Gilbert roared.
Rufus narrowed his eyes and shrugged nonchalantly.
"Hmm... I wonder... What are you going to do if I am the one behind this? We are the same level, but we all know I am stronger than you"
Because Rufus and Gilbert were so close, they knew their levels.
"Rufus. After all I have done for you, is this how you are going to repay me?" Gilbert said in a small tone.
"Humph! Do not blame me for being impolite. If you wont join me, then die!"
Gilbert said nothing. Suddenly...
"Pfft" a small laugh escaped Gilbert's lips.
"Fine fine. I see. I have been betrayed by my own brother. If that is the case there is no need for me to hold back!"
Immediately he said that, a huge pressure suddenly enveloped the entire area they were in. The pressure was monstrous and it threatened to destroy anything in it's wake.
"Ugh" Rufus said as he stumbled back.
Bane's eyes widened in disbelief.
"Wh-what's going on? Cou-could it be that this fatso is-?"
Boom! Clank!
A loud sound reverberated. It originated from Gilbert. It seemed that Gilbert had broken the chain that bound him with only brute force.
