Decision Made

Korra stared at Rufus in anger. The rage in her was evident on her face. 'I have not been disrespected like this in a very long time. He deserves to die... But it is not like I can kill him, I need him.' "Hey! Hurry up and leave here! It is dangerous!" Gilbert called out again. He looked really worried for Korra. For the second time Korra ignored him. Gathering her energy, Korra jumped of the tree and stomped the ground.  Boom! The land caved in and dust covered the whole area. Both Gilbert and Rufus could hardly make out their surroundings.  Swish! Using her immense speed, Korra appeared infront of Rufus. Of course, to Rufus she was not that fast. After all, she was only a level 2 while Rufus was a level 11 mage with innate mana. In fact the only reason why Korra was much stronger than those of a higher level than her was because she was practicing the Heaven Crushing Demon Queen technique. This granted her a very solid foundations, therefore granting her greater stats than that of the normal people who could only grow their mana by leveling up. Even so, this was not the most important point. The thing that gave her a foot above the other people was, her techniques. Being a supreme master of the cultivation world, she had various high level techniques that were heaven defying and could easily be trained and converted into skills. In fact, if her techniques were to be graded, she would easily have S grade techniques, SSS grade, X grade, Ex grade and Z grade. Some of her techniques would not even be graded by the system. It would probably be '???'. But still, with all these powerful techniques she had she was not planning to learn any of them soon. This was because her body would not be able to handle such high level skills. On the other hand, she had trained a bunch of E and D grade level skills. Combined with it's other worldly effects, these skills were enough to grant her the upper hand in any battle. Korra looked up at Rufus again. "We don't have long before the dust clears" she paused and narrowed her eyes. "I will ask you only once, do you want to live" Rufus, who was taken aback by the girl's unexpected character, chuckled heartily.  "Who do you think you are? Get out of here before I cut you up and feed you to the dogs" Korra's eyes twitched. She closed her eyes. When she opened her eyes, the killing intent in them made Rufus shiver. She opened her mouth to speak. "You know, you disrespected me once before and I let that slide. That's actually pretty rare. Normally I'd cut your tongue out. Even so, I looked the other way. But to do that a second time..... Tsk. Tsk. Tsk. Even if I need you, you must pay." Rufus frowned as sweat fell from his face. 'Who the f**k is this girl? Why does she give me the chill-" "UUURAGGHH!!!!" Before Rufus could finish his thoughts, something happened that made him release a blood piercing scream. He fell onto his knees as he held his right shoulder. His eyes were closed as he continued to groan in pain. Korra held Rufus' right arm in her hand and inspected it closely. Finally she spoke up. "Hmm... I could have easily cut off you arm to make the pain less... But I just thought, why do that right?" She gave a small laugh. "Cutting your arm off would have been too good. That's why I tore it of rather. So you could feel every single muscle and bone disconnect from your body. Hmm... Even that is not enough to pay for your disrespect.... Maybe I should take an eye too?" Korra said with a glint in her eyes and begun to walk towards Rufus. "N-no.. I'm sorry please. D-di you not say you need me? Please I'm sorry" Rufus said in fear. Korra stopped in her tracks and begun to contemplate. "Hmm... Well you are right, I need you... But it's a good thing that pulling an eye out won't kill you right?" Korra said in a joking manner. Swish! "AAARHRHH!!!" Rufus collapsed onto the ground. Large amounts of blood was gushing out of the injury around his shoulder where his arm should have been. He had one eye closed in pain. Korra looked at the eye ball in her hand. "That's enough compensation! Now where were we? Oh, yeah! Do you want to live? I can help you defeat that berserker guy, what do you say?" Rufus grunted in pain as he stared at Korra. He was shaken. In one swift move, he had lost an arm and an eye. 'Th- this girl is a monster! I hate her! I f*****g hate her!.... But, if it's her shouldn't she be able to kill Gilbert? Even if she can't at least she'll die! Hahaha, that will teach her not to hurt me!' "F-fine" "Good choice. I'm sure you have already figured things out right?" "Of course! There's no way you'll save me for free. If you can help me, I'll do anything you want." Korra nodded her head with a smirk. "You are a smart man.... I like that." And with that, she disappeared into the smoke.. Rufus who watched Korra disappear begun to laugh. "Hahaha... Stupid girl! Does she think she can actually match up to Gilbert? Well I don't care. With her strength, she can at least buy me some time to escape" .......... Gilbert tried to maneuver his way around, but the dust was just too strong. He could not make out his surroundings. 'What just happened? Did that little girl do this. But how? She's too young to have done this! Or maybe she was working with Rufus all along to distract me!" As Gilbert tried to deduce what had happened, he suddenly felt a huge pressure. The pressure emanated an aura that seemed like a predator stalking it's prey. Gilbert turned towards the source of the pressure.
