A fierce Battle

Bane stood still with his mouth agape. He was confused. He could not comprehend what the scene before him. In front of him stood a girl with a medium length silver hair. There was a patch of gold coloring the front of her hair. She was smallish and looked very weak. Even at her age, it was clear that she was very pretty. Her golden irises shined brightly in the darkness of the night. She had a weird aura around her. 'What the f**k? A child? How did she get behind me without me even noticing her?' Bane started to shiver. 'No. No. She is just a kid. It is probably because her level was too low for me to notice' "Hohoho.... Are you that scared of me?" Korra said with obvious disinterest. Bane frowned. 'There is something seriously wrong this child. How can she be acting so nonchalant when there's a fierce battle going on so close to us' "Hey kid! What the f**k are you doing here? Are you from the merchant caravan?" Bane asked her. "Tsk. Tsk. Tsk. I'm sorry, I really don't have the time to chat. But I'm sure we will get to talk soon"  Immediately she said that, a large aura emanated from Korra and hovered above her head. It formed the shape of a monstrous demon. Bane's eyes widened as he saw the scene unfold before. "What the f**k is this. You-" Siwsh! Before he could even finish his sentence, Korra moved with immense speed. She disappeared and appeared behind him. Raising her right hand, she hit him on the nape of his neck. He stumbled a little, his eye balls rolled into his head as he fell to the ground in an unconscious state. "Hmm... I really want to kill him. But I might need him later though" Korra continued to think of the situation. Suddenly.... "Blurgh!" Korra held her stomach as she coughed up blood. "Damn it. Using such a high level footwork skill on this weak body. I still can't handle the backfire." After a while, she calmed down. She raised her left hand and wiped the little blood that stained her lips. She then straightened herself up.  Boom!!!! A loud explosion rung out. It seemed like Gilbert and Rufus were still fighting, and Rufus was losing. Korra turned her head in the direction of the explosion. Her expression was grim. "Gilbert is a level 12 berserker. That is at least in the second stage of the foundation establishment realm. About nine whole levels above me. Can I win?" Korra contemplated the options she had. She knew the jist of what was going on. After all, she had interrogated most of the assassins in the Blue Wolf Gang. After considering her options and contemplating on the resources she would need in the future, she had made a decision to choose a side. The losing side. After all, a man who is already winning will not need any help. However, when a man's life was in danger they would do anything to preserve themselves. Therefore, Korra chose to side with Rufus. Korra looked down the tree. "Asta. Asta!" Asta's head snapped up to look at Korra. "Lady Korra?" "I am going to check out something over there. I'll be right back." "Bu-but!" "Tch. I'll be fine so don't get in my way" Swish!  With that she left. ........... "Flame Prison" Rufus shouted as he jumped back.  Blue flames appeared out of thin air and enveloped Gilbert. Rufus stumbled a little as he clutched his right arm close to his side. His right arm was broken and his whole body was covered in blood. His clothes were tattered and his body was beaten up. 'Damn it! The flame prison won't hold him for long!' Just then a huge roar echoed out. Rooooar!!!!! "Is that the lion's roar skill?" Rufus asked in astonishment.  The wave from the roar dissipated the flame prison. Gilbert came out of the flame prison. At this point, Gilbert's fat had completely dissipated. He was now a young well toned man. The steam that emanated from his body seemed to have increased. It was like he was burning his fat for more power. "Give up Rufus. This fight is already over!" Rufus bowed his head. He had spent money and time to plan this particular event. Was all his plans going to be cut short? Just like that? Rufus clenched his teeth in anger. Not even all the members of the blue wolf gang put together could defeat Gilbert. No! No! He was not going to let Gilbert destroy his plans. Even if he had to sacrifice his life force to do it! "Hey you!... Slim guy" Rufus was snapped out of his contemplation. Both he and Gilbert were startled to hear the voice of someone around. Even more so that they didn't sense the prescence of anyone one. They both turned to the source of the voice. A young girl who seemed to be a child was hanging from a tree. She had a medium length hair and had golden irises. She wore a thick leather shorts that was inappropriate for a girl. At this point, both Rufus and Gilbert were stunned. 'Did the blue wolf gang forget to s*******r the children too?' Rufus thought in annoyance. "Hey young man, did I not call you?"  Rufus frowned. Young man? Was this girl talking to him? How could be so disrespectful to her elders? Can she not read the situation? Maybe she's just dumb. "Little girl! What are you doing here? Quickly escape from here! This place is dangerous!" Gilbert said in a worried tone. If everyone else was dead, he at least wanted a child to escape from Rufus' m******e. Korra looked at Gilbert curiously, and then shook her head. Ignoring him, she turned towards Rufus. "From the looks of things you are already dead. There is no way you'll win this battle" she said with a chuckle. Rufus narrowed his eyes. "Kid you better get out of here before I kill you!" Korra frowned at that. The aura around her changed as she slightly tilted her head. "You dare threaten me?" The anger was evident in her voice.
