Unknown pov.

"This is our 4th attack on the golden moon pack, why have I still not recieved my son?" The leader boomed in a tone that probably scared everyone in the room.

No one had ever seen this man with any woman and yet he keeps sending us all on suicide missions to fetch his so called son its ridiculous. So many of our men had lost their lives and this "son" of his hasn't been spotted once. However we all knew that this man was capable of wreaking havoc on anyone who crossed. Hes even been known to beat and r**e women, just because no one seens it dosnt mean it doesnt happen.

"Sir, we have not even seen Hunter, how do we even know he's still alive?" I ask, trying to show no fear.

"Because you stupid b**** He is immortal. You see his mother was desperate to make a family with her mate but was failing and came to me for help. So I blessed them with a child… My child! Now go find him! He needs to come home so I can explain his powers and who he is to him."

"And who exactly is he and why do we have to keep risking our lives to get him here?" Some demonic warrior asked.

"Well boy because you see, he is a blessed child, he is the promised hybrid that I chose to create, by helping his mother. I bestowed gifts and powers to him so he could be unstoppable at everything he did"

The smirk on this man's face as he was talking made me sick. He didn't want this kid because he was the supposed son, he wanted him for something more. He wanted to use him for his power. I know I'm fighting against him but I have to find a way to warn this poor boy about what's to come.

"What if instead of attacking his pack we infiltrate it? You said he's my age which would mean he is in school. So what if I just went to his school and pretended to be his friend, gain his trust and lead him here? Then no one has to die and you still get what you want and I can make daily reports?" I speak up hoping it works.

"Anna you are brilliant, my child now go get my son." Warren said with a slight smile on his lips. "I will be waiting for my update." With that i nod and leave. This was going to be fun. I'm now working on three sides of this war you could call it.

You see warren is a demon who wants to end the demon king but to do so he needs power, hunters power to be exact. However, Hunter's mother Amber is my packa luna, and she sent me out to find and protect Hunter until he came into his powers and hopefully reunite him with her. I found Warren's group by accident and agreed to help so I could report back to Luna Amber on how close he was to finding her son. I don't know the history between them but even being a powerful Luna, Warren terrifies her.

Its now 6am, my mission to infiltrate hunters pack starts today I was told school starts at 730 sharp. so here I go.

I get up and shower, brush my teeth and throw my hair up in a messy bun. I put on a pair of dark jeans and a t-shirt. I grabbed a muffin as I walked out the door to my new apartment that Warren had insisted I stay in while in school.

It was a small one bedroom apartment. The kitchen was small and had a small dining area. The living room was just big enough for a couch. The bedroom fit the queen bed and a dresser. It was definitely a cozy little place, especially since I was previously sleeping in the cold on the streets.

I walk through the door of the school and instantly regret my plan, how the heck was i going to find Hunter in such a huge place! This was going to take a while. I really hope Warren can wait.

Hunters pov.

The rogue attack happened yesterday, the pack lost 20 men, all good men. I told Jack when he had returned home that I'd like to start training so next time I could help defend our home.

Today is also my birthday so I will shift tonight. I couldn't wait to see what Felix looked like. He was my only friend. I'm brushing my teeth getting ready for school when I hear a knock on the bathroom door.

"Hurry up mutt I have to pee!" Janelle shouts at me.

I roll my eyes "give me a minute" i respond

"Get out now im going pee myself!" She continues to bang on the door.

Spitting the toothpaste out, I rinse my mouth and open the door. Janelle is standing there in her nightgown, her hair a disaster and her legs crossed doing the potty dance. To be honest this brought a smile to my face.

"Move f***er!" She screeches as she pushes me out of the way slamming the bathroom door behind her. A few seconds later as I begin to walk away I hear her moan in pleasure. F***ing disgusting.

I walk back to my room to get dressed. I picked out a blue t-shirt with jeans and black vans. Once dressed I walk down to the kitchen and grab an orange and walk out the door. Thankfully no one was around so I was able to get out without any complications. I chose to walk to school today. I'll take the wooded back roads and enjoy the scenery.

Walking down the road was peaceful. Quiet. It's fall here in Oregon so it's wet outside. The trees have leaves falling off and changing colors. The farm animals are grazing in the muddy cut fields. I inhale, it smells of wet pavement and fresh cut grass. This was my favorite scent.

When I got to school another scent hit me harder than any other. It was the scent of raspberries and vanilla. The closer to the doors of school I got the stronger the scent, what is this? Why is this scent making my mouth water? I had to find this scent! And fast. I opened the door to school and thats when Felix made himself known in my mind again!

"MATE!!" He shouted in my head.
