Chapter Twenty-Seven Ben watched the scanners on the shuttle’s computer and his eyes widened with horror. Everything seemed to be going so well. The other shuttle had entered the atmosphere, but out of nowhere, an object intercepted them, likely a pterodactyl or dragon. The shuttle began its unsteady descent to the planet. “Houston, we have a problem,” he whispered. “What’s wrong?” Ned asked. “The shuttle is crashing.” “What?” Ned asked. Ben didn’t give a response. Instead, he stood, then rushed outside of the shuttle. He held his hand over his eyes, blocking out the orange sun as he looked into the sky for the shuttle. Ben saw it. Its bow was pointed directly at the ground. Up in the sky above it flew a pterodactyl, its flight pattern was slightly erratic as it tried to keep its mom
