Chapter Twenty-Six The shuttle vibrated as it entered the atmosphere. Kevin braced himself and made sure his seatbelt was secure as they broke through the atmosphere and into the beautiful crimson horizon. Clyde continued mopping the shuttle. Somehow, during all the commotion, he hadn’t fallen over. “Clyde,” Kevin said, “I really think the shuttle is clean enough.” “Nothing can ever be too clean.” Kevin held the controls, steadying the descent to the surface. The console vibrated and Kevin struggled to keep the controls steady. “It’s a bird. It’s a plane,” Clyde said. “What?” Frank asked. “It’s a pterodactyl,” Clyde said.
