Chapter Thirty-One
Daniel scratched his eyeball. Well, not his actual eyeball. That would be weird, but the skin over his eye. Normally he rubbed it, but this time he scratched it because it itched.
He was about to do something he didn’t want to do. Land the Ghost on a foreign planet. The rule book even strongly recommended against it, especially with hostility on the planet. If there were problems on the planet with an away team, he was to contact command and wait for the next closest spaceship in the sector to arrive and render aid.
Daniel glanced at the rulebook in his hand, then tossed it behind him.
“Are we about to do something foolish?” Shawn asked.
“We have men on that planet. Friends. We cannot abandon them. Rules be a walrus’s uncle. I will not leave them. Who is with me?” D
