FORSYTHIA’S POV
The ground somewhere was cracking open. A heel stepped onto the fissure, and just like that, a flower sprouted from the earth and bloomed.
I lifted my gaze. I saw the back of a green-haired woman. She appeared grand and monumental, yet I had no idea who she was.
“I have sent them to you. Protect your people well.” Her voice echoed powerfully, vibrating through my very soul.
