Unprecedented
Cutler fidgeted the entire way to the hospital. Twice when they"d been forced to stop at a red light, she"d come close to ditching the SUV and hoofing it the rest of the way. But common sense told her that impulse could prove dangerous. Too many times in the past she had let her need to hurry take over, and she"d had to pay a price for her impatience. However, once they reached the hospital entrance, the driver was kind enough to pull up next to the front doors. Cutler gave him a quick thank you and exited the vehicle in a rush. Not having any idea where to go, she approached the information desk where a lady in a pink top was playing solitaire on the computer.
