I stayed awake but Jay fell asleep, I was watching Jaden with my life. If only I looked after him he wouldn't be here, I feel so stupid.
"Mama" I heard Jaden say, I looked up and ran towards him.
"Hey honey are you ok"
"Yes mama it doesn't hurt anymore" he moved his hand and hissed.
"Be careful honey" I walked over to Jay,
"Baby wake up" I tapped his cheek and he woke up. He rushed over to Jaden and hugged him.
"Jaden do you feel better" he nodded.
"Yes daddy, I'm a strong boy just like you" Jay and I laughed.
"Yes you're both my strong boy's" I smiled at them.
"Ah I see Mr Jaden has woke up. How you feeling mate" Doctor Cole check him and gave us permission to take him home. It was 2 in the morning and I could tell they were both tired.
We got back home and Jaden fell asleep in my arms, I quickly took him upstairs and put him to bed. I kissed his head and went down.
His parents and mine were still there along with Sophie
"He's sleeping" I said.
"He's alright, did you find out what happened" Jay looked furious.
"Yes, he wanted his drink and his Sippy cup was on the table he reached to get it and a glass dropped and he fell backwards into it" his mom explained.
"Who was watching them?"
"The babysitter we hired, she apologised she was clearing up another drink when it happened. As long as Jaden is ok"
"Alright lets go home honey we will be back tomorrow to see Jaden if you're ok with that" dad spoke to Jay's dad.
"That's fine; you're welcome here any time"
"Honey are you coming" dad asked I looked to Jay and shook my head.
"I'd rather stay here I want to be here when he wakes up" he nodded and I said goodbye.
"Honey, you're doing a great job looking after my grandson. Thank you so much" Jay's Dad said, he hugged me and I smiled.
"It's alright David; I'm already attached to him so I won't be going anywhere" we said goodnight and Jay took me upstairs.
I changed into some clothes I brought here and dropped onto the bed. My feet were killing me, Jay was being really quiet.
"Jay, what's wrong" I touched his shoulder and he shrugged me off. I felt a little hurt. "Jay" I said again, he turned around and his eyes were red. I took him into my arms and he started crying.
"Thank you for looking after him" he mumbled into my chest, "You know the doctor the girl, she was a friend of his biological mother's when we got in the room she was having a go at me for being with another woman whilst having a son. I love you already and I know Jaden love's you too. Please don't ever leave us, I don't think I will be able to live" he crashed his lips to mine and I smiled into the kiss.
"You won't be getting rid of me even if you wanted to" I kissed him again and we went to sleep.
The next morning I woke up and went to check on Jaden he was awake playing with some toys on his bed. He looked up and saw me.
"Morning mama" he got up and ran to me. I took him back to Jay's room and put him on the bed. He started jumping and woke Jay up.
"Morning monster" Jay laughed at Jaden. I smiled and quickly got changed and did my tooth brush.
"Who want's pancakes" I asked
"Me, me can you make the dinosaur ones again mama"
"I have an even better idea" I had brought this micky mouse pancake thing and I hadn't used it yet and I thought I could make Jaden some.
I pulled the carrier bag out of my duffle bag and took them downstairs. I started cooking pancakes for Jaden and a full English breakfast for everyone else.
I quickly cleaned up "Ok ready, Jaden close you're eye's" he did as I asked and I quickly placed the plate in front on him. "Open"
He squealed "Wow, its micky mouse. Look grandma it's micky" he giggled and started eating. Everyone else sat down and I helped feed Jaden and Jay was feeding me and himself.
"Mama can I have micky mouse pancakes everyday" I laughed and started cleaning up.
"You're really good with him" Ana spoke I smiled and thanked her, I was really happy.
