Chapter 2Finian gasped for air, dizzy, as his mind whirled with sound and a myriad of images. The stone warmed in his hand and he held it tighter, and smiled in surprise as his sight cleared to a single moment, a beloved memory, but seen through Gilly’s rich brown eyes… “Blessed be,” Gilly murmured, the gray bottle cupped in his hands. The words he said didn’t matter so much as the intention behind them. The bottle heated, as did the murky liquid inside, imbued with a spark of his healing energy. He placed it on the crowded table with three others. Two more to go, and he already tired. A relieved exhalation escaped him when the silver bells on the door announced a visitor. He could use a break. He looked up, and froze in place, his breath stolen by the lovely vision standing in the doorw
