Chapter 30 DAY 23 Alex opened his eyes slowly; he could hear the metal door c***k open and the sounds of boots approaching him. He curled himself into a ball where he laid inside the pitch darkness. He opened his eyes slowly, something was wrong about the people who approached him; it was usually one person who brought him food but today, they were more than two, he knew that because the boots made multiple sounds. He was still curled up in the darkness when he felt two strong hands grabbed him by the arm and lifted him up to his feet. He couldn’t stand as they held him up.
