My name is Alexis Hudson and today I graduate top of my class with my Degree in Marketing. Today is a very bitter day for me because my parents are not here to share my victory with me. They both died 4 yrs ago in a tragic car accident. It was the reason I went into my shell and never partied, drank or even dated. Here I was graduating.... 23 years old and I never even had my fist kiss........ "Hey there's my nerd" Haylee (My BFF since high school) exclaimed as she hugged me... "But..." I started "Even if I have to break your door down and drag you Lex ..... I am serious" she barked "Fine... " I gave up saying. At 8 sharp she knocked on my door and a I came out as she demanded..... uncomfortable as I was.... I was a sweat shirt jeans and sneakers girl.... I don't know what Haylee was thinking when she got me this mid thigh length body con dress with a deep cow neck at the front.... I paired it with a gold pair of heels and clutch and I put my coat on... Ashton Lockwood and at 25 was the youngest VP at Van-Hasting's Group and he was Haylee's boy friend for almost 4 years... They started dating our first year and she practically lived with him when he finished college. We arrived at Dream about 20 mins after we left my house and we cut straight through the line Ashton and headed straight for the VIP Booth. It was 7 of us in total 3 couples and me the 7th wheel.... "Hey I hope you don't mind but my friends from work are dropping by.... you know since it's Friday," Ashton said... "Sure.... the more the merrier," Haylee said. Four shots later and we were out on the dance floor..... A couple moments later I saw Ashton whisper in Haylee's ear and he headed out from the dance floor to the booth to meet with his colleagues. "You look sexy Alexis.... that dress was a total win" Haylee said patting herself on the back. "Thanks... Hey my feet hurt a bit do you mind if we fo sit for a while... besides it's been an 30mins and my liquid courage is wearing off," I said "Well we wouldn't want that," she said pulling me toward the booth As we entered the booth I locked eyes with the perfect specimen of a man... we must have been staring because Ashton's voice knocked us both out of trance when he introduced us. "This is Haylee's best friend Alexis Hudson.... Alexis this is my boss Kyle Van-Hasting" My eyes widen.... and his smile made my knees week and my lady parts tingle. "Nice to meet you," I said "Have a seat by me...I promise I won't bite unless you want me to...." he winked. I couldn't help but blush as I moved over to sit closer to him.
