Cole's Redemption

-This chapter does contain some triggers. If you do not like the abuse, potential r**e, and loss please go to the next chapter-  They say that when you die you go to one of three places. Heaven with your maker, to the fiery pits of hell, or if you are dark and evil enough you go to the void. So where am I you might be asking yourself well I'm in the void?  My soul is in pitch blackness floating around. There are no sounds, no other people, and no way out. But to understand how I got here we must start at the beginning.  A little over one hundred years ago I was born but it was not a happy time like most birth stories you hear. You see my mother and father were both wolves and not just any wolves but the leaders of their pack. Unfortunately, my mother left my father when she discovered his true mate was alive and he lied to her and when she walked away she found her true mate. Her mate was willing to accept me as his own but my father was not having any of that. So he aligned himself with a witch, gathered an army, and started a war. How the war ended I do not care but what happened during the war is what mattered most to me.  As the war started my mother went into labor and as everyone sought shelter she gave birth to me and Unfortunately died. My stepfather cared for me for about a day or two but my father showed up and killed him taking me away.  Not one person looked for me. Not even my mother's family who are royal wolves. They left me with my father and the witch in the realm of the outer world. This realm is filled with the worst of the worst and you can see it all here. I will not taint your fragile mind but just imagine your worst fears and it is here.  We lived in a castle and when I was three my father married the witch Aggie who helped him.  Life seemed to be fine until the day I wanted to play outside and my father said no. I cried and he hit me right across the face. Aggie laughed and I stared at my father in disbelief but that wouldn't be the first time he hit me. Hitting turned into beatings and soon his words turned into mental abuse. Even Aggie started to hurt me but I soon befriended a woman named Jasele who taught me magic.  As I grew the relationship between Aggie and my father began to crumble and soon my father warmed his bed with other women and Aggie tried to warm hers with me. She would trap me in a corner and try to kiss or touch me but luckily I was able to use my magic on her and she never got what she wanted.  When I turned fifteen Aggie left and I stayed out of my father's way. I stayed with Jasele and her daughter Molly. They were my family and when I turned sixteen and shifted for the first time I discovered Molly was my mate. Jasele was ecstatic and so was I.   I took Molly as my mate and decided to leave my father's home and move to the Jasele's. I did not want Molly to see how my father treated me nor did I want Aggie to discover Molly.  Every day I would go to my father's castle and work for him while enduring his punishments if he saw me and by night I trained and perfected my magical skills and spent time with the love of my life. All seemed well.  Two years into our relationship Molly found out she was pregnant and we all decided to return to the human realm. We wanted a pack and not to live in the outer world. It was no place to raise a family but a week before we were to leave my father called me into his study. He learned I had a mate and was angry. He had two men hold me down and gave me a shot of wolves bane then had his men beat me and lock me in the cellar.   I was weak and was not healing. It took two weeks for my father's anger to cool off and when he released me I rushed home and what I found broke me. I walked into the house with a smile on my face but it soon fell. There was so much blood. Jasele's throat had been slit and her body laid across the table but it was Molly who I mourned the most. Her heart was ripped from her chest and she laid on the floor. I grabbed her body and laid it on the bed and wrapped my arms around her. My hands resting on are an unborn child. I lost them both, I screamed in pain and when I got the courage and strength I used my magic to look at her last memories.  It was Aggie and my father who did this and that is when I felt the darkness take over.  I walked out of the house and waved my hand in the air and it began to burn. My wolf Blaze was whimpering in pain for our mate and I closed my eyes and willed him away to find a new human and happiness for my path would not be one he would like and when he was gone I went to visit my father. I killed him ripping his heart out of his chest and then teleported to the human world to where Aggie was.  Aggie was in a battle and when she saw me she screamed for my help. So I walked up behind her and slit her throat and disappeared. They were dead but it was not enough everyone would pay so I set my site on the royals.  As I devised a plan I stopped my aging and began to build my army. It took nearly ninety years but I killed every royal and took the wolf kingdom as my own. Then seven years later the rumors started that the princess survived and she would reclaim the throne. So I had to meet this girl claiming to be the dead princess and long and behold she was the princess. I decided to kill her but what I never expected was her mate and dead parents to be there. They killed me and so here I am floating in the void but luckily for me, the moon goddess had appeared to me. "Cole child of alpha Justin and royal Luna Amanda you have been granted a second chance at life but that chance can only come from the one you had hurt. She must forgive you first and set you free."  So every moment I wait for her to set me free but with each passing moment, my hope slips away.
