Cole's Point of View
Emma moved right next to me, and when I looked at her, she smiled. "Emma, go!" I screamed as Dex threw a fireball at me. I quickly dunked while grabbing her.
"No, this is my fight as well. I am not leaving you, Cole."
The look in her eye told me everything I needed to know. "Clear your mind Em. You are more powerful than you know, but you need to clear your mind."
"I can do this, Cole."
"Good. I need to change into my wolf. Can you distract him?" I wasn't sure how long it would take for me to shift, but I wanted to make sure I could protect her. I didn't want her to get hurt.
"Yes." She closed her eyes for several seconds, and when she opened them up, she smiled again. I loved her smile silently prayed that I could see her gorgeous smile every day.
