Vix woke up with an aching body. He couldn't even move much and his shoulder is also aching badly. Wincing a bit Vix slowly stood up and headed to the bathroom. He was shock to see his bruised face, black eye, busted lips, broken nose and all.

"Finally your awake."

Ethan interrupted Vix who's still shock at his reflection. He was trying so hard not to laugh at Vix's funny expression.

"H-how long was I out?"

"You were out for a good 18 hours. Cane was the same and he too just woke up."

Vix gave another shock expression and this time Ethan couldn't contain his laugh anymore. He suddenly burst out laughing which made Vix upset. So even with his aching body he still moved and began beating up Ethan who just kept laughing due to Vix's weak punches.

"Yah stop laughing you i***t. It's not even funny."

"Aish you two stop playing around. Ethan go down and help Noah with making food for Cane and Vix. I'll take care of Vix now shoo."

"Sheesh I'm not a dog."

Ethan gave Justin a strong punch on the shoulder before running away. Now Vix and Justin are left alone.

"Thank god his gone. That ass can be so annoying. How's Cane?"

"He's also beat up like you but fine. Also your father will be visiting soon and a weird letter with Nicolas' name came this morning. We still haven't opened it yet. Nicolas thought that all of us should be present before he opens the letter."

"How about my friends. The last I remember before I passed out was seeing my cousin Mark with the others."

"They're downstairs watching some TV."

Vix nodded at Justin before pushing him out of the bathroom. He needed to take a bath to at least lessen the soreness that his body's feeling. Also to look at least presentable when comes down to eat.

"So how are you feeling Vix?"

"Gosh Mark I'm fine. This is nothing compared to what I had back when I fought with dad."

Vix wanted to roll his eyes at Mark's worried look at him. He's been asking him the 'are you really okay' line for half an hour now and it's becoming really annoying.

Cane also felt annoyed with Noah almost doing everything for him. He even wanted to feed him himself but Cane refused and gave him his hard glare.

"Alright. Seriously you guys we're fine just a little sore but we can manage so please stop worrying so much."

"Yah you two give them some space and stop being a worrywart."

Justin gave Liam a look and Liam understood that so he pulled Mark out of the dining room and Ethan did the same with Noah.

"Phew glad there finally gone. Now I can eat peacefully."

"So Nicolas open the letter when you're ready."

I said as I eyed the letter. Something tells me that what's inside that letter isn't good news at all. And with how nervous Nicolas looks my guess would be right. Slowly Nicolas took out the letter and began reading it out loud.

If you're reading this then yes something bad is going on here! Dad has given an order and announced that you are a traitor to us which means his men won't hesitate to hurt you anymore. I'm doing this since I still care about you unlike our parents who basically doesn't treat you as their child.

Nic please always be on guard. Dad really wants to capture your ex even if it means killing you to get to him. Also if you are by chance reading this out loud then good.

Cane, Vix, please protect my little brother. Aside from Qing he's the only other family I have left. Please don't let him get hurt because of my obsessed father.)

"So that's it?"

If Alex isn't my friend I would've strangled him to death already. Can't he sense the atmosphere. Nicolas is practically sad at what his brother had said in the letter. I can't believe Nicolas' father would do such a thing.

Just for a stupid treasure that I don't even know where the location is. Then if he wants me then he has to do better than just sending his weak men to come for me. I've already had years of experience in fighting different people with people strengths. Some of them even use brute strength while some have some tricks up their sleeves which I've also learned.

So it'll be hard for Nicolas' father to fully catch me. I also have my friends at that and my father's men backing me up so I'm sure Nicolas' father won't just carelessly send his men to get me.

"So here's the plan. Since Vix is good at everything especially in combat then Mr. Frau won't just send his men to capture him. Now what we need to do is bring in one of ours to trick them."

"What do you mean Mark? Don't tell me it's that stupid idea again!"

Mark gave me a loop sided smile before giving the others a nod except Justin, Ethan, Noah and Cane. Nicolas also knew what Mark meant since he had seen it back then when he's still my lover.

"Since they want Vix so badly why don't we give him to them!"

"No way! I promised to protect Vix with my life."

Everyone turned to Cane who suddenly stood up and went to sit beside me. He wrap his arms around me making me blush as he glared at the others especially Nicolas.

"I'm not really suggesting that we give him up to them. What I meant is to have his body double take his place. Leo is a young man with the same height and built as Vix, he even has a mole on his lower left lip the problem was his face. So Uncle decided to have him do a face surgery. They made sure he looks exactly like Vix."

"Oh so this Leo guy will serve as a diversion for them. To at least buy us some time but to what exactly?”

The smirk Mark made sent tingles down my spine. He only does that when he's planning something crazy.

"Enough time for us to find clues on where this treasure is. The truth to this treasure isn't really simple. Vix is the key yes, but he doesn't know where the treasure is, he only knows how to open the entrance to the treasures location. You still need to find all the clues left by people from my aunt's side of the family."

Everyone silently look at each other trying to see if they should go along with the crazy plan Mark had created while I just stood there frozen. I knew that the treasure is somewhere in the mountains but opening the entrance, that I don't know.
