I picked up the sword that Sirius dropped.
「Fire Sword (E rank, uncommon): Attack +30, durability 115/120. Add fire elemental damage to your basic attack. Fire damage +5. 」
It seemed that the color red is caused because of its fire elements. This is honestly such a good weapon for me right now. Although it was a sword and my knife mastery won’t be applied to this, the difference of basic attack damage from the goblin’s cleaver is enough to make me choose it over the knife.
As the chimera is heading towards another person, I also moved towards him. Before the claws of the chimera can run through that person's body and split it in half, I pierced the sword to its heart.

It wasn’t even 1/5 of the experience I gained from killing Sirius and it doesn’t seem he has useful items with him. I should ignore him for now and kill the others that are going to be killed by the chimera.

Out of the remaining 8 survivors, I managed to get experience from 6 of them since the other 2 is too far from my original location.
The chimera then dragged their corpse to its lair again in order to eat them and save the rest for later. It didn’t have any intention of chasing after the other that have escaped this place. Should I look for them and see their situation?
It didn’t take too long for me before I found them. Most of them are hiding in a corner while shivering. Some of them even holding their heads saying: “It’s not my fault that they die. It’s not my fault.”
It seemed that they are already broken. May God bless these poor souls. Should I end their suffering? I bet death is also a relief for them.

Should I put all of my stats points in strength and luck again? I think that might be a good idea. Since my overall situation is improved after I add some point to luck. Alright, let’s divide it between luck and strength. Making my strength and luck both at 21 points.
I also found some food from their body. It is a shame that there is no option for inventory from the system. I heard that there is a spatial item that has storage function but it was too rare and expensive. With this new ration, I can for 3 to 4 more days.
Speaking of food and ration, how if I kill all the goblins and hide them? Making the chimera go into a hunger state. Will it be effective? Well, there’s no harm in trying.
A monster corpse will stay in the dungeon for about one hour before it disappears. For a human corpse, I didn’t know how long it would stay but I think it should probably be the same.
After one hour, I returned back to the place of m******e, and just like I thought, the human corpse also disappeared. The chimera shouldn’t have any food left in stock so it is time to see whether my plan is going to work or not.
After the next round of goblins respawned, it didn’t take long for me to kill it. It was because of my new weapon and the increase in strength. Combined with my skill, killing a goblin is now a piece of cake.
At first, I can only deal 5 damage with each attack but right now, I can deal almost 60 damage with each attack. killing the goblin is 10x faster because of it.
「Backstab has leveled up. 」
Nice. This skill is really useful. The damage increased to 13 and the critical chance to 5%. Don’t look down on critical since when I happened to trigger a critical, the damage caused is almost double in the 100 range.
Right now, after killing the goblin, I hide their corpse near the dungeon entrance. If the chimera wanted to find its food, it needs to walk a long way and by the time he arrived at the entrance, the goblin’s corpse will disappear because of the time limit.
I repeated what I did without feeling bored. After all, this is concerning my own survival. One day, two days, three days. I am now on my last portion of my ration. The chimera itself has been roaring for the past few days. It certainly feeling angry after being hungry for the past few days.
I walked to its nest and I saw that it actually throwing a tantrum. It couldn’t find anything to eat and is clearly on the edge of losing it.
Another point to note that the green health bar on top of its head is gradually depleting.
So, it seems that when facing extreme hunger, our health point will decrease. I shall take note of this and will bring extra ration later when dungeon diving. It will also be great if I could get a fairy’s wing for emergency measures. But first, I will need to know how to earn money from dungeons. Which part can be salvaged and sold? It will also be best if I could get a storage item too to carry them.
I will wait for the next few respawn or until my ration really goes out before facing the chimera. There also doesn’t seem to be any sign for Lion’s heart guild to send a rescue team. Poor Sirius, even his guild master already discarded him.
