IVA Nik’s mom assured us that everything was closed and said she’d sleep with Akari in her bed tonight. I was glad, and I told her that I was also coming back the night after. She was surprised to hear that and tried to assure me that she’d keep Akari safe, thinking what had happened was the reason for my cutting the trip short, but I assured her it wasn’t.
