“Alpha!” Theo and Thea rush from their seats and run to his side, each of them giving him a big hug as he smiles down at them, his arms full of gifts.
“Are those for us,” Thea blinks her bright hazel eyes up at him and he laughs in that gentle way he does when it’s just the children and me.
Slowly, I walk to meet them and Kane’s gaze recaptures mine, he lifts my hand to his lips in greeting. “Amy,” he says my chosen name, the one I picked when I divorced my husband and left his pack behind.
Amy Monroe was my mother’s name. I doubt Logan would remember that little fact. If he had, he’d have found us by now. On the official pack registry, Amy Monroe has been the acting Luna of Lakeshore pack for four years.
