It has been four years since my life ended and restarted. I disappeared like the storm on an easterly wind and finally found a home.
The high mountain clouds are small and white, a wisp of cotton over a deep blue sky. Taking a deep breath, I feel a chill in the crisp mountain air as the warmth of the sun glows upon my skin as it crests the mountains surrounding us. As the lupine, sacred to the Moon Goddess, blossoms along the lake’s shoreline, it feels like their blue and purple blossoms are smiling with me in celebration.
It is going to be a beautiful spring day–perfect for a birthday party at the park.
