Annalise's POV Holding his shoulders, I call his name gently as he finishes vomiting what’s left in his stomach. “It’s okay, Theo, mama’s here.” Hearing Theo becoming sick, Samantha rushes out of the kitchen where she had been making sandwiches while the two girls played. Without missing a beat, she returns a moment later with towels and a large bucket of soapy water. “Mama, don’t worry,” Theo smiles wanly as a bit of color comes back into his cheeks. “I’m okay. I’m already feeling better.” Maybe it isn’t the same sickness? He certainly doesn’t seem to be poisoned. Kids get sick all the time. It could be a common stomach bug or maybe he ate too much sugar while I was gone. My kid hasn’t been anywhere near any of those athletes. The odds of this illness being related are very slim.
