Dawn arrived with little fanfare and lots of sunshine, but the white blanket was still much too thick to see the n***d ground. The guests, for the most part, seemed broken and demoralized, but the wild look he sometimes noticed on Davis’ face still concerned Darque. As he continued to monitor the actions of the four, he was approached by one of the technicians. “We’re homing in on the transponder signal from Major Schilling’s location, and we should join him within the next few hours,” he said. “Let me know as soon as you have a voice link with him,” Darque said. As he continued to watch the monitors, he saw the same technician coming toward him with a cell phone. “I have Major Schilling on the line for you, Sir,” he said. He handed the phone to Darque and returned to his workstation
