Aurora's POV
Alpha Ryder walked out with my medicine bag. Yes, he said I would take it with him present, but did that mean if I had a slight headache, I would have to rush up to his room to take my drugs? Maybe he forgot. I smiled. He forgot he still had the bag. I had a feeling he would be back very soon.
I stood still, playing with my feet and stretching my head out of the door and up the stairs, waiting for him to come back. Five minutes were gone, and still, there was no sign of him. He might not have noticed it yet.
While I waited, I cleaned the table. I was slow while I did so. To give him time. I spent thirty minutes clearing the table. I even washed the dishes and cut some vegetables for dinner, but he had yet to come down after an hour.
