I woke up to the sound of the birds chirping. Stretching out, I stood up and made my way to the bathroom. I took my bath quickly and when I got out, I began putting on my clothes. I combed my scattered hair and packed it in a bun as usual. I got my pair of flats and wore them quickly.
One more time, I looked in the mirror and when I was sure that my simple make-up was okay, I dashed out of my room.
I hurried down the stairway and stopped when I got to the large sitting room. I watched as some of the maids hurried out through the front door with some luggage.
They must be going on the trip with Beta Mateo and Princess Marta too. I didn’t bother looking for Mabel, I knew she would be very occupied and I didn’t want to disturb her.
