Chapter 9: The start of training

Roselilly

  As I answered the door I see a man that i remember, but can't remember the name. As I see Jack coming to the door to put boxes in my truck, he greets the man. 

"Hi Franklin"

"Hi Jack and you young lady must be Roselilly" Franklin says 

"Yes I am, how may I help you tonight and please come on in" I say

"Why thank young lady. I am here to help train you to be come queen. The rest of the counsel will be here soon"  Franklin answered as I went to open the door again and I opened the door before the next person could knock on the door 

"Well how did you know I was going to knock on the door?" Miss amber asked as I see one more person behind her. I let them in the house and all the counsel members are here. There is Franklin, Amber, Claire along with my auntie Sue and uncle Sam. 

"Is there anyone else coming here tonight or is this everyone" I asked

"Nope this is everyone" Amber replies to my question 

"I am wonderinghow you know when someone is at the door and about to knock on the door" Amber asks 

"Well ever since I was little I would tell my mom was at the door before they could knock.  It was one of the powers I got when I was younger. My mom and dad hated that power especially when they are trying to surprise me" I say as I smile at my parents.

"Well you are a bright little witch and who all came with you" Claire says as she looks at my family and friends 

"Well you know my parents,  so I have my brother Chris,  my sisters Mary and Bobbie, Amanda my bestfriend,  and my boyfriend Rich" I finish as I point to everyone that came with me.

"Ok our little queen we want to start your training as soon as possible" Claire said to me

"Ok we can start now if you like" I ask Amber and Claire 

"Ok" they say at the same time 

"Also I have been wondering how did y'all know I was the one to be queen" I ask

"When you were born you were able to do things that no other baby could do. You were sitting up at 1 week old and you were growing up at a fast rate. Lilly, Franklin, Claire, and I all found a way to make you grow at a normal pace until you turned 16, which you stop growing and the only thing that would grow would be your magic and powers.  So right now you are strongerthanall off us together. We would like to teach you how to control all of your powers and not hurt you in the long run" Amber explains to me

"Can we start now pretty pretty please" I ask as everyone nods in agreement 

"Yes we can" Franklin says as I jump up and down doing my happy dance. So we go to auntie's basement that has a spell that won't let any magic out. We start with me relaxing my body and mind. Then they have me do a simple spell that hide me from everyone that is not a witch. Then I do a incarnation spell that helps someone that has passed away, but can't cross over to the other side. I also learned a spell that makes someone go flying away from me to keep me safe. I learned how to control the elements (fire, earth, water, and wind). Which I learned really quickly, so they tested me on everything that I learned today. As everyone else went to bed I made a bed in auntie's basement so I could practice all the spells I learned. Rich came down to check on me before he went to bed in the room we are sharing for our stay here. Also school is out for a week for spring break since spring is starting Monday. I didn't pay attention to the time until my mom and auntie came down the stairs to wake me up.

"Roselilly May Feasel did you get any sleep last night?" My mom kinda yelled at me, but I ignored her as I did my elements spells again for the 20th time as I did all my other spells.

"No I didn't get any sleep because I was not tired at all and I wanted to practice all my new spells before my teachers give me a pop quiz on everything, so to answer you mamma no I didn't get any sleep last night" I say as I get up from my home made bed as everyone else comes running down the stairs.

"Roselilly May you young ladyput you butt back down on that bed and get some sleep before I get your father here" mom says as I do as she says, but I already know that I will upstairs in a minute so I just lay here until i hear the door open and close. I also know that Chris will be here in

10...9...8...7...6...5...4...3... The basement door opens and closes again...2... Step getting closer...1

"Hey Rose want to do a spell on me" Chris asks as he sits next to me on my bed

"Sure since mom thinks I am asleep right now" I tell him

"So what did you learn last night" he continued to ask me questions 

"I learnedhowto control my anger when I get mad and I also learned how to controlthe 4 earth elements" I say

"Can you show me how they work please" he asks me as I heard the door open.

"No and what can I do for you Jack" I say as Jack comes down the stairs and says

"Mamma Sue asked me to come and get you both for breakfast"

"Ok" both Chris and I say at the same time which is weird 

"You owe me a Pepsi and candy" I tell Chris as I get up then I help him up as well then we head to breakfast. I knew I was going to get a pop quiz, so I made sure I remembered everything. After that we said our goodbyes and get in our vehicles to go home. I handed Rich my truck keys to drive the first half so I can sleep on his shoulder and hold his hand. The second half of the drive home I drove so Rich didn't have to drive all the way back home. I want to see everyone's faces as I get out of my truck with my new look.

Chris 

I know mom told me not to bother my baby sister because she didn't sleep at all, but I wanted my baby sister to show me what she learned last night. I knew Rose would know I was coming before I got to the bottom of the stair, Rose was already sitting up. 

"Hey Rose want to do a spell on me" I asked as I sit next to her on her bed

"Sure since mom thinks that I am asleep right now" she tells me

"So what did you learn last night" I continue to ask her questions 

"I learned how to control my anger when I am mad and I also learned how to control the 4 elements" Rose says

"Can you show me how they work please" I ask

"No and what can I do for you Jack" she says as Jack is coming down the stairs and says

"Mama Sue asked me to come and get both of you for breakfast"

"Ok" both Rose and I say together which is not normal 

"You owe me a Pepsi and candy" she says as she gets up and helps me up as well. All three of us head up the stairs to have breakfast. After breakfast Rose gets a pop quiz to see if she practiced and remembers what she learned. Then we loaded back in our vehicles after we say our goodbyes to everyone. We are in the same vehicle that we arrived in. The girls and Rich are in Rose's truck. Mom, dad, and I are with Jack in his jeep. So glad that we are heading home today since we go back to school on Monday. I was already thinking that Rose was going to change her look to see the faces of the student body at school. I wanted to see what will happen as well when she gets out of her truck.
