Chapter Six
For a moment Jackie wondered if Helen was on the verge of tossing the “crazy lady” out of her house. But Helen seemed too intrigued by her proposal to act hastily. “What could you possible want with a photograph like that?” Helen asked.
“Let’s just say I want to make a statement. A very strong one... a raunchy one!”
“Raunchy. Yes indeed.”
“My husband needs to learn a lesson, with your help.”
“It’s not my place to get involved,” Helen shot back, and then softened, smiled and reconsidered. She looked over, studying Jackie for a minute, assessing. “You are a very remarkable woman. I suppose, I mean, I think I can do raunchy. I can be assured of your discretion?”
“Yes, of course. No one will ever need to know.”
