Chapter One Mr. Harcroff was considering her legs. Becky squirmed in her chair but did nothing to cover up. He wasn’t leering; more like a timid assessment. She figured there was nothing wrong with that, unless the fact that he could have been her grandfather mattered. It didn’t seem to matter to her; the way her body responded! Becky had arrived at the library before nine, opened up and turned on her computer. It was a small town, and a small library. No one much came in before noon. That suited her just fine.
