Melanie’s POV 4 years ago. ( Mel is 15) “Go out with me Mel.” Tristan said as he kissed my hand making me blush like an i***t. “But isn't Ashley gonna try and murder me or something?” I teased and he chuckled and kissed my cheeks. “I would never let anyone touch or hurt my treasure in any kind of way. Whether it be telepathically or even physically no one would touch what’s mine.” He said and kissed me sweetly. “Go out with me Mel.” He pleaded as he softly brushed his thumb against my cheek making me lean into his touch. “Okay but if you hurt me I won’t ever forgive you, and you won’t ever see me ever again.” I said in a joking manner but I was being serious about everything I was saying. “How could I ever hurt someone that I love?” He whispered against my lips and kissed me gently making my brain turn into mush. “I love you too Tris.” I mumbled, as we broke apart for air. *3 YEARS LATER* “Come on Mel! We’re almost there.” Amanda said cheerfully. “Remind me again why I let you drag me all the way to the beach in a long flowy dress?” I asked as I grabbed my dress as the sand was making it dirty. “Why aren’t you wearing a stupid dress?” I grumbled as I bunched my dress up. “For the last time Melanie I told you why! I said ‘Mel you’re coming with me so I can take photos of you so I can use them for my painting ideas I have for class.” Amanda grumbled annoyed. “This fool owes me big time.” She mumbled under her breath but I chose to ignore her. “Okay we’re finally f*****g here!” She yelled making people give her nasty looks but we just flipped them off. “Okay so I want you to go and stand in the shallow and let go of the dress and face the ocean for this shot.” She said as she took a couple of pictures of me walking towards the shore. I did as told and heard the camera clicking softly. “Okay good. Now I want you to face me and close your eyes and look towards the sky hun.” She said and I did as told. “Okay good. Now I want you to open your eyes.” She said and I opened my eyes to find Tristan standing in front of me on his knee. “Jeez! You f*****g scared me you asshole!” I yelled and laughed. “Melanie make me the happiest asshole and marry me?” Tristan asked seriously making me stop laughing and look at him as he pulled out a black velvet box. He opened the box and the sight made my breath hitch.  “Tristan.” I whispered as tears clouded my eyesight. “It’s beautiful.” I whispered adoringly as I looked at the diamond cut into the shape of a heart with sapphires around the heart. “So is that a yes?” He asked and I sniffed and sighed. “I’m sorry but you need to know something about me before you decide to marry me.” I said and bit my lip. “I don’t care what it is, but nothing you say will make me change my mind about marrying you.” He said and took my hand into his. “Tristan I’m a man!” I whispered softly and everything went silent. Tristan’s face paled and I heard Amanda burst into laughter, which made me loose it and burst into laughter. “You are one sick b***h!” Amanda yelled and I laughed along with her. “So will you marry me?” Tristan asked and I nodded at him and he slipped the ring onto my finger making me smile. He got off his knees and kissed me fiercely but passionately at the same time. “I love you Melanie Amber Cole.” He said and I giggled and pecked his lips softly. “Even with my sick sense of humor?” I asked and he laughed and kissed me softly. “Definitely.”  He mumbled and kissed me again. “Well then I love you too Tristan Steven Cole.” I said and he took my lips in for a possessive kiss. “Are you guys gonna stand in the ocean getting wet or are you gonna cut the damn cake? I’m starving over here!” My friend Karina yelled as she rubbed her pregnant belly. “We’re coming!” I yelled and pulled Tristan to the others. Okay so remember those women we flipped off? Well it turns out they were some famous models that Tristan’s friends. Abby the one with green eyes and blonde hair kept giving me dirty looks and kept on putting her filthy manicured hands on Tristan. Tristan didn’t seem to mind, or he was just being ignorant. I was going to walk towards them when Megan held my hand and nodded towards where Karina was walking towards Tristan. “Oh my gosh I am so sorry.” She said as she “tripped” and spilt her drink all over Abby. “Oh my god! This dress was f*****g expensive you dumb pregnant b***h!” “I’m the pregnant b***h and you are?” Karina asked in a sugar sweet tone. “Are you serious right now? I’m Abby Collins.” She sneered and flipped her blonde hair. “Who?” Karina asked with a confused look on her face. “I’m a model. I work for Chanel, Calvin Klein, Victoria Secrets, and a bunch of other companies. And you are?” She sneered and looked at Karina up and down and scoffed. “I’m the b***h that could ruin your whole currier in the snap of her fingers.” Karina said and gave her a big fake smile. “Mhm yeah sure but I still don’t know who the f**k you are.” Abby said and returned the fake smile. “Well this isn’t gonna end well.” Amanda murmured as she sipped her red wine. “$5,00 says that Abby is gonna storm off in tears.” Megan snickered and I shook my head at them. “$6,00 says that she’ll storm off in tears and jobless.” Amanda said and Megan nodded. “I’m Karina Davis b***h! CEO of all the places you just mentioned.” Karina growled and Abby looked at her in awe. “O-oh my gosh! As in the Karina Davis?” Abby gushed and Karina looked at her in disgust. “Yes. Now who the hell invited you to my friends engagement party?” Karina asked in a menacing tone making Abby cower in fear. “Umm w-we j-just happened to be here when the party started a-and we didn’t know t-that this was an engagement party.” Abby stuttered avoiding eye contact. “The next time I see you and any of your bitchy spoilt friends flirting with an engaged friend of mine or even married I will personally fire you and make sure you never get a job in the modeling industry. Do I make myself clear?” Karina barked and you could see Abby shaking in fear. “Y-yes ma’am.” Abby said and Karina gave her a warm smile. “Good. Now I expect good things from your modeling Abby. Now off you go.” Karina said and made kept an eye on Abby and her friends till they drove off. Karina walked our way with a huge grin on her face. “Gosh Mel I can’t believe that you got engaged!” She squealed and admired my ring. She sighed in awe and looked at her engagement ring as well. “Dang it Karina couldn’t you just make the poor girl shed a tear?!” Amanda huffed and Megan nodded in agreement. “Yeah or even jobless?” Megan added in and Karina looked at them as though they had lost their minds. “How many drinks did you guys have? It’s only like 8 and ya’ll are drunk?” Karina asked looking at the fuming girls. “NO! WE’RE NOT DRUNK…yet! But that not the point! The point is that you didn’t fire that b***h!” They yelled at the same time. “Ya’ll are a bunch of nasty ass snooping hoes.” Karina says and playfully glares at us. “Will you people please stop harassing my wife? Like jeez that’s my job.” Devonte Karina’s fiancée said and wrapped a possessive arm around her waist making her blush. “f**k off will ya? And I don’t remember ever hearing wedding bells and neither do I remember saying, “I do” to you.” She huffed and crossed her arms doing a cute little pout. “Umm actually if I’m not mistaken your wedding bells are going to be going off in a few days and this one-” He said kissing Karina’s belly. “-Is going to be joining us in a few days as well, and last time I checked which is everyday you’re wearing my proposal ring on your finger meaning that you are mine and that you’ve already said I do.” He teased and kissed her lips gently. “f**k off you asshole.” She mumbled and pulled him in for another kiss. “I love you Karina.” He mumbled against her lips and she blushed and hid her face in his chest. “You’re an asshole.” She mumbled in his chest making him laugh and kiss the top of her head. “As cringy as this sounds only for you baby. Wait no I’m an asshole to guys that approach you.” He mumbled and hugged her to him in a possessive way. “I love you more asshole.” Karina giggled and gave him a small peck. Devonte was a very handsome man. His ebony skin tone mixed very well with Karina’s mixed one. He had a sharp jawline, a very tall and muscular body with a killer smile that made every girl’s panties drop and nice strong broad shoulders. Karina had nice mixed skin that made her even more beautiful. She was nice and tall but short compared to her fiancée. She had warm big brown eyes that reminded me of hot chocolate. A kind inviting smile that made you just want to befriend her and she had a killer body with all the curves in the right places even with her being pregnant she still attracted he attention of many. I was pulled out of my thoughts when Karina gasped clutching her stomach and warm hands went around my waist. The smell of Tristan’s cologne filled my senses making me take a big breath in and sighing in content. That was until Karina said. “Guys my water just broke.”
