Dave's evil plan

On a normal day, Mark was just having a walk with his friend. His friend's name was Dave.

"So Mark why don't you like gambling anymore?" his friend asked.

"It isn't a good thing so I had to quit" Mark answered.

"I want to go to a bet9ja shop. Will you follow me?" His friend asked.

"No but I will wait for you" Mark replied.

His friend played and lost but he didn't give up. He kept playing, Mark left.

One next day, Mark's friend went to the hospital to sell one of his kidney inorder to have the money to play bet. When he sold his kidney, he didn't even use the money to make his life better but instead, he used it to play bet. He kept playing bet everyday and he was so addicted to but he never won.

When Mark heard that his friend sold his kidney, he said: "What!?. You sold your kidney?. Ah you have gone too far".

"Don't worry when I win, I will buy a new kidney" his friend said.

Since then Mark stopped being close to Dave. He made a new friend. After Dave had played bet for up to 3 months, the money got finished. So he decided to do money ritual. When he went to native doctor, the native doctor told him to offer someone as a sacrifice.

"I will use my friend" Dave said. Since that they, dave has been trying to kill Mark. When Mark's new friend noticed strange some strange things about Dave.

"Mark I think you should stay away from him. He doesn't have good intentions towards you" she said.

During school hours when the teacher wasn't in class, Dave took a bottle of juice and went to the back of the school. Mark's new friend secretly followed him and hide somewhere to see what he was doing. Dave took a dangerous liquid chemical and put it in the drink. Dave went to Mark and told him that he had quite gambling and that he wants them to be friends again. He offered Dave the drink but Dave's friend refused and gave Mark the drink she just bought.

"No mine's better!" Dave said.

"It's ok. I'll take both of the drink" Mark said. And as Mark was about to collect Dave's drink, she got angry and threw Dave's drink away.

"Dave put something in that drink!!" She said.

"It's a lie!" Dave replied.

"Proof to Mark that it's not true by drinking" she said.

"But I bought it for Mark" Dave said.

Suddenly, the bell rang for everyone to go for break. Dave gave up and pour out the drink on a gutter and the animals that drank the water from that gutter, died. When Mark saw it, he was surprised!.

"So it's true!. You really wanted to kill me!" Mark said.

"Told you" his friend said.

"Sara you were right" Mark said.

That evening, Dave went to the native doctor and told him that his task was too difficult.

"Hmm... you need to accomplish this task or you will die after 3 days" the native doctor answered.

"The gods have spoken so it can't be changed" the native doctor said again.

Dave began to take the task more seriously and when he saw that Mark's friend will prevent him from doing it, he threatened her.

"If you try to stop me again, will forget that you are a girl and beat you up!" Dave said.

"Since you are trying to kill my friend, I will have to stop you!!" she said.

Dave got angry and tried to hit her but she dogged it immediately. Dave decided to use a big stick. As he tried to hit her with the stick with force, she blocked it and punched him on his face.

"I may be a girl but you still can't beat me" she said to Dave. Dave only had two days to live if he didn't accomplish his task. He then decided to kill her.

"I will kill you!!" he said.

"Really?. How old are you anyway?" she asked.

"Am 19 and today is your last day on earth" Dave answered. As he ran to grab her, she slipped him and he landed on the ground. Dave was in pains.

The next day, Dave was worried because he didn't want to die. Sam told Mark about the fight between her and Dave.

"Wow you beat him up?" Mark said.

"Yep" Sam replied.

Dave decided to look for help. He ran to a pastor and told him that he needed prayers. He explained everything to him then the pastor started praying for him. The prayer lasted for 30 minutes and after the prayer, Dave felt peace in his heart.

"Are you born again?" the pastor asked.

"No sir" Dave replied.

Dave surrendered his life to Christ and became a new creature.

He later went to apologize to Dave and Sara. They both accepted his apology and regained trust in him after some few months.

"Can we be friends again?" Dave asked.

Sara smiled at Mark.

"Sure we can be friends" Mark answered.

A few days later, Dave still died. He died because he had only one kidney. Sara felt bad for him and Mark cried. Dave died as a changed person. And they were sure that he was in heaven.

Meanwhile, there were other gamblers in school. Mark knew that they didn't have to learn the hard way. They needed to learn that gambling is wrong before they go too far. Mark didn't worry about that because each day, the principal always catches those who gamble in school and the principal always makes sure that he punish them.

"ALL OF YOU PEOPLE GAMBLING ON TOP OF THAT MANGO TREE, COME DOWN AND BE ON YOUR KNEELS!!" the principal shouted. The principal is a professional at catching gamblers.

Mark still thought about Dave and always remembered him.
