“Why did you save me?” My voice turned rough this time as I glanced at him with suspicion in my mind. My eyes were scanning his eyes, seeking truth. “I was nothing special to be saved. Why did you waste your resources on someone trivial like me then?”
“You were nearly dead. Falling in that waterfall and fighting against that dangerous current was something impossible, truth to be speaking.” Elias tilted his head, keeping his voice calm and soothing like midnight breeze. “But you somehow survived miraculously.
