Mira's POV, Soon, a pair of soft paces broke the silence on the balcony. I glanced up and saw a maid step in, her gray hair tucked under a cap. “Miss, Lord Elias wishes you to have a new room. Will you please come with me?” “Alright.” I sighed deeply and tried to get up as my legs still felt weak from crying. The maid quickly grabbed my arm and I leaned on her gratefully as we left the room. “Thank you,” I murmured as we again walked through the maze of corridors. After walking for a few moments, we landed in a different area of the mansion and I could feel the air growing a bit warmer, scented with lavender and peony. Finally, we stopped in front of a room and she pushed open the door for me. I caught my breath as my feet turned cold under my nervousness. My mind still felt unwilling
