I had nothing left to hold on to anymore. My own pack had betrayed me first. Then I fell into the grasp of the cruelest Alpha. And just when I had started to adapt if only slightly to this prison life, the little affection I once had for Alpha Kieran crumbled completely under his cruelty tonight.
