Mira's POV,
“Ahh… no! It hurts!” Pain lanced through me again as a fresh wave of blood seeped through my clothes.
“Pregnant…the baby…. miscarriage…” Those broken words reached my ear through my blurry mind as Alpha Kieran brought me inside the castle.
I was carrying Kieran’s child! And before I could get any chance, his fragile life was slipping away.
“No!” I screamed again, clutching at my stomach. “Please… no! Not my baby!”
The pack doctor Violet frantically pressing her palm against my belly as she checked the damage.
“It’s too late,” she muttered in grief. “The fetus… it won’t make it.”
My hands trembled as I clutched at my stomach as if holding on tightly enough could keep the baby from leaving me.
“Do something!” I choked out. “Save it! Please!”
