“As Alpha of the Shadowmoon Pack, I choose my pack first.” Alpha Keiran’s words hit me like a punch, the pain crashing through me.

I had known this was coming. I had felt it in the way his gaze had turned cold when the elders started threatening him. But still, a stupid part of me had held onto the hope that he would choose me, the life growing inside me would mean something to him.
