The morning sun sneaked through the thin curtains, splashing golden patches across the wooden floor in my room. I shifted under the cozy quilts, my head still feeling fuzzy and empty.
Yawning, I tried to sit up but my body was aching like hell, still wiped out from last night with Kieran. Just thinking about his hands on me instantly made my cheeks burn, blood rushing hot in my veins.
“Ugh, stop it,” I scolded myself shaking my head to push the memory away.
Soon, I dragged myself up and headed for the shower, letting the cool water clear the haze in my mind. Then I slipped into a green midi dress that fit just right and checked myself in the mirror. My stomach still looked flat, even with the baby growing inside.
