Chapter Eight “Hey, Shep, did you miss me?” After patting him on the head, Mason walked inside and set his bag down. Shep was bouncing around, happy to see him, so before anything else, he sat in the floor and gave him the attention he needed. That was where Nate found him when he walked in. “Am I interrupting something?” Nate asked. Shep turned his attention to him, and Mason stood up, brushing the hair off him. “Haven’t been home in a few days. He missed me. Sam doesn’t have time to spend with him when she watches him.
