Chapter 20.- Hell

After the breakfast, we went outside and sat on the sun. Everyone was chatting but I just sat there anxiously.  As the time passed, my anxiety just got bigger. Kali walked over to me.

“What’s up with you?”- She sat next to me-

“I …”- I looked at her- “Never mind”

“You are nervous”- she nodded- “why?”

“Don’t do that to me, don’t check on my emotions”- I got up- “Don’t want to talk about it, drop it”

“Sure, have fun”- she got up and bumped me- “loosen up a bit”

“I will try”- I rolled eyes and pulled her into a hug-“ and you don’t have any without me”

“You know I won’t “- she looked at the clock on the tower-“you have to go”

“Yeah just have to go to get the bag”

She rolled eyes and picked her hand up with my bag.

“You really need to teach me how to do that”

“When you came back”

“What about the others?”

“O don’t worry I will fill them in”

“Just don’t tell them about…”- I leaned head on left- “you know Lu…”

“Sure, I won’t, now go he hates to wait”

I rolled eyes again and went to the garden, he was nowhere to be find. I walked the garden admiring the horticulture when I felt his gaze on me. I turned around and looked at him.

“You are late”- I raised eyebrows-

“No”- he walked to me- “you are just too early. I see you took a bag, you thought about staying?”

“Of course not, you haven’t said how long are we staying and then Kali said to take extra clothes “

He pulled me to him and kissed me passionately. We were surrounded with trees so this time I let him, at least no one can see us.  He burred his face in my neck and started kissing it, biting it again.  I groaned. He continued doing it.

“Stop”- I said slowly- “Don’t leave me a hickie”

“Too late”- He laughed and continued grabbing my waist pulling me closer-

I let out a moan.

 “Damn I will lose my mind, Lilith”- he took a deep breath and move a bit leaning a forehead on mine-

Why is he saying this now? I was breathing heavy not ready to confront him about this yet. I bit my lips and looked at him.

“Tell me”- he moved putting a place between us- “Are Kali and you good friends?”

“Why do you want to know that?”- I asked weird-

“No reason, just asking”

“Don’t we have to go?”- I asked changing the subject-

“Yeah”- He grabbed my hand-

A portal appeared in front of us and he pulled me inside without thinking twice. We found ourselves in some dark spice.

“Welcome to Hell”- Lucifer winked and pulled me forward-   

I looked around and all I could see was darkness. We moved forward and I started noticing shape of architecture. Funny thing about hell, there was no grass, no sun, no moon, just darkness. We came in front of the building where we found  Carrie standing.

“Lucifer, Lilith”- she looked at us-

“Where is my father?”- Lucifer asked still holding my hand-

“He is in a great room, waiting for you”- she gazed at our hands- “I heard the news”- she smiled- “I am glad”

“We really couldn’t care less of whatever you are thinking”- I said cold-

Lucifer laughed and pulled me in for a quick kiss.

“You keep on surprising me”- he pulled back-

Carrie stood there with a face as if I slapped her.

“Lets go to father”- Lucifer pulled my hand and we went inside-

We passed through the hallway that leaded to the main room. Lucifer stopped in front of it.

“Look”- he stopped- “Don’t talk much especially if he doesn’t ask”

“Sure”- I glanced at him-

He pulled me closer and kissed my neck slowly, after it he pushed the door open and we walked in. There was a grand throne in the middle of the room, and a person sat on it. He looked normally, a lot as Lucifer only older.

“Lucifer”- He got up- “And Lilith I presume?”

I nodded.

“I am so glad to see you two together”- he smiled- “would you just look at her, you’re gorgeous “

“Thank you”

“Lucifer you finally did something alright”- he grinned- “Go, rest and I want to see you at diner”- he said looking at me-“Lucifer stay a moment”

“Wait for me in front of the door”- Lucifer said touching my waist-

I went out confused, why is he acting like that? I mean Lucifer is his son, but then again who am I to talk about it, my parents are also complicated.  As I stood in front of the door waiting for him, Carrie came.

“You listened to me”- she touched my hair- “isn’t it awesome? You two look great together”

“Why won’t you just leave me alone? I did as you asked now just let me be”- I moved and put my hair on the left side of my neck-

“I will never leave you alone Lilith, you are my daughter”- she moved closer to me- “Lets just forget about everything from before, as you said you did as I asked so now we can be like a normal family”

“Daughter?”- I let out a sarcastic laugh- “Where were you for nineteen years?”- I tried to move but she wouldn’t let me-

“I tried to find you but I couldn’t”- she touched the back of my neck- “what is this?”- She pulled me and looked at the back of my neck- “When did you do this?”- She asked clearly amused-

“It’s none of your business” – I pulled away-

Lucifer walked to us.

“What’s happening here?”- Lucifer grabbed my waist-

“I am just admiring Liliths new tattoo”

He smirked.

“You saw it? So what do you think?”

“I think she couldn’t have put a better one”- She said proud-

“Actually she didn’t pick it, I did”- he said gazing in my eyes-

“Really?”- She looked at both of us-

“Yeah really”- I touched Lucifers hair-

She smiled.

“I am glad you made her do it, now everyone can see where she belongs to”

“And where is that?”- I asked still captivated by Lucifers eyes-

“Amongst demons”

“Wrong.”- Lucifer moved his gaze- “she belongs with me”- he pulled my hand and took me straight ahead-

As we were walking, I shoot him a look.

“What now?”- He asked rolling eyes-

“I don’t belong to you”- I whispered-

“Didn’t feel like that on the Academy, in the garden”- he laughed-

I hit him. He just firmed a grip on my hand.

“Where are we going?”

He keep silent, we continued walking through hallway until we came to big curled stairs. We climbed up and kept going until the big door.

“This is my room”

“Ok”- I nodded-

He walked inside.

“You didn’t show me where will I sleep”

He smirked and pulled me inside.

“Here”

“But it’s your room”- I looked at him-“where will you sleep then?”

“Here too”

“Umm no”- I rolled eyes- “Take me to sleep somewhere else”

“We are supposed to date, you really think my father will believe that if I sleep here and you somewhere else, he knows me better than that”- He laughed-

“That makes sense”- I looked around- “your rooms are always soo… “

“Dark?”

“Exactly”- I smiled- “Wait there is only one bed”

I looked at his bed, it was huge. The entire canopy bed was black, even the sheets were satin black. Even the thick pillars were dark, made from dark wood. All together looked amazing but it wasn’t the look of the bed that took over my thoughts. When I saw the bed, I kept having these thoughts of us together making out maybe even something more. I pulled myself together.

“Yeah”- he walked to it, pulling me by hand-

“Do you expect me to sleep in the same bed as you?”- I shook head- “No way”

“Don’t make a big deal out of it”- he started kissing my neck-

“Lucifer stop”- I moved away- “it’s not going to happen”

“Fine “- he sat on the bed- “Then go talk to my father and tell him you wish to sleep somewhere else and see what will happen”

“You’re right”- I styarted pacing around-

He just looked at me silently. Finally, I sat next to him.

“Fine, I will sleep here”- I shoot him a look-

“Great decision”

“What do you usually do when you got home?”- I got up and walked around looking through the room-

“Lets not talk about that?”- he said getting up and following me around-

I went to his bookshelf and looked through it. He had so many books, which came as a surprise, I didn’t picture him as a book type.

“Ha”- I smiled- “you read a lot”

“What makes you think that?”- He touched my waist-

“This amount of books”- I turned around and looked at him raising an eyebrow-

“I suppose I do”- He smiled-“ I have some things to do with father”- he buried his face in my hair- “ I advise you to stay here until dinner, if you do decide to get out be careful”

“Why?”- I asked playing with his hair-

“You are not fully a demon, and demons don’t like angels very much”- He kissed my neck- “Bathroom is on the left, you can take a shower or a bath”

I nodded.

“When will you come back?”

“I will come to pick you out for dinner, hope you took something formal if not we can find something”

“No I took something, Kali warned me”

“Of course she did”- He laughed-

He kissed me and walked outside. I sat on the bed not really knowing what to do. I sat there for a while and then took one of his books. It was something about demon magic, I laid on the bed and started to read. It was actually really interesting, the things I was reading were beginner stuff, this one was advance.  I got so into the book so I spend most of my time just lying there and reading it. Soon it was time to get ready, so I went to shower. When I entered the bathroom, I noticed the same black design as of the room. Once I was ready, I put on blood red dress I took and started to do my hair. I picked it up and put on soft eye make-up and blood red lipstick. I was sitting on the bed putting black heels on when Lucifer entered. He closed the door and looked at me. His eyes shined red and he licked his lips.

“What?”- I asked smiling-

He rushed over to me taking my chin up and kissing me passionately. I pulled him closer while biting his lip, suddenly he pushed me over to bed and got on top of me exploring my body with his hands. As he moved his lips on my neck, I let out a little moan. He moved away, running hand through his hair. He seemed frustrated.

“We need to stop”- his eyes were still on me- “otherwise we will be late for dinner and father will get furious”

“Yeah”- I took a deep breath-

He smirked and walked over to the bathroom. I stood there confused, it he hadn’t stop, we would probably… Oh dang, I need to stop thinking about it.. It will not happen, no way. Yeah, I thought how would it be to sleep with him, I mean come on, its Lucifer, of course I did. With  that devilish handsome body of his, who wouldn’t? The thing is I am not thinking about him just because of who he is, I liked him when we were both back on Earth, when I though his name was Ed. He has that specific charisma or whatever you want to call it, which attracts me way more that I want to admit it.  He walked into a room, dressed in black jeans and black short sleeve shirt. I got up.

He looked impressive, even though he was dressed plain. His shirt showed of his muscles and without thinking twice, I found myself biting my lower lip.

“What about this being formal?”- I asked checking him out-

He smirked.

“My father wants it to be formal, while I don’t give a damn”-He smiled- “Did you look enough?”

I felt blush coming on my cheeks. He grabbed my waist and pulled me to him.

“You look .. amazing”- He said looking me in the eyes-

“Thanks”- I smiled-

He kissed me slowly and took my hand as we walked out of the room. As we were walking downstairs, I kept looking around admiring the statues that were placed all along the hallway, they were mostly statues of demons alongside the grotesque ones.  He led me into the big dining room. As we walked in, I saw my mother already sitting, she was the only one there.

“What is she doing here?”- I moved closer to Lucifer and whispered-

“That’s what I want to know”- He whispered back- “usually there are more people at the dinner”

“O you’re both here”- Carrie said looking at us-

I looked at her, she dressed up nice. Her hair was let down, she straighten it up so it was much longer, she put long black satin dress, she looked amazing. I really don’t know how can I be her daughter.

“Come sit next to me Lilith”- she pulled a chair-

“Lilith will sit next to me”- Lucifer said pulling me on the other side of the table-

“Alright”- she nodded- “Lilith you look great”

“Thanks, you look really good too”

She smiled. Lucifer and I sat opposite of her. Soon the Satan joined us. He came and sat on the main place of the table. He shoot a look at Lucifer immediately.

“Lucifer why aren’t you wearing formal?”- He asked angry- “We already talked about this multiple times”

“I don’t want to wear it”- Lucifer smirked-

Satan rolls his eyes annoyed.

“Lucifer you know what happens when you make me angry and we have two beautiful ladies here “- He smiled at my mother- “I will look the other way only this time”

Was I worried for Lucifer? Yeah, I was. I don’t want to see him like I did that one time. I took his hand under the table worried. He looked at me with some expression that I couldn’t understand.

Satan clapped his hand and some people started walking into the room carrying plates with food. It had various type of food. From some meat stuff to apple pies and there were wine, lots of wine. At least it looked like wine.

“Careful with drinks”- Lucifer whispered- “that’s not the wine you are used to”

I look at him ready to ask questions and then felt Satans glance on me.

“Lilith”- He started- “How do you like hell?”

“I ..”- I took a deep breath-“I really didn’t see that much to conclude anything”

“Smart girl”- He glanced back at Lucifer- “You have to show her, we can’t have our next queen not knowing her future home”

A queen? What? I felt as my eyes got widen in horror.

Satan suddenly laughed.

“No need to be scared”

I blinked twice, I am not scared, I am terrified because I don’t want to be any queen, especially not the queen of hell.
