Chapter 19.-Diving into it or not?

Once my tattoo was finally finished, I went to the mirror. Lucifer came next to me smiling. I turned around and picked my braid even higher so I can see the tattoo. I saw the reflection of a devil and gasped.

“Really?”- I glanced at Lucifer angry-

“What?”- He laughed-

“I knew I shouldn’t let you pick it”- I rolled eyes- “What if anyone sees this?”

“Even better”- he pulled me close- “then they will know who you belong to”

“I don’t belong to you”- I said and walked out angry-

Once I was out, I didn’t want to wait for him so I made a portal and went back to Academy. Everyone were already at the yard, I was the last one to come. Dang it, he is the blame for this.

“So now that we are all back”- Gabrielle looked at me- “we can see how you all did.  Aideen lets start with you. You had a pretty easy one, did you manage?”

“Yeah, I made Anna realise who is she dealing with and she assured me she will break up with him”

“How did you do that?”- She asked-

“Well I told her I am her friend for elementary, she had no idea who I was so she naturally thought she forgot me and felt guilty. Everything else was easy”

“Nice job Aideen, Davina you can tell us about yours now”

Gabrielle kept on asking everyone about their assignments while I sat on the grass thinking about a pulsing tattoo on my neck and Lucifer. He seems obsessed somehow, but I really don’t understand why does he obsess over me. I mean there is that damn contract but I don’t know is all of this because of it or something else. He obviously don’t care about me and I know that because of the way we departed on earth, if he did care about me he would never cheat. What am I even thinking? How could a devil care about anyone than himself? I put head in my hands. Damn, he is going to make me lose my mind.

“What’s wrong?”- Kali asked sitting near me-

“I will tell you later”- I picked up my head-

“Fine”

We sat there in silence until the class ended and everyone went away.

“So?”- She asked looking at me-

I picked up my braid and showed her a tattoo. She looked at me seriously.

“What? How?”- She got up-

“I will tell you, just help me to heal it. Tell me if anyone looks”

She nodded and started walking around nervously. I put hand on the tattoo and thought about healing it, so at least it doesn’t burn anymore. When I finish the wound completely healed and there was only a tattoo.

“Are you done?”- Kali asked nervous-

I nodded. She quickly sat next to me.

“Explain now”

“I finished my assignment really quick but you know who showed up”

“Wait Luci showed up?”- She widened eyes-

“Keep it down please”- I rolled eyes- “Yea he showed up and we went to get him a new tattoo and then I decided to have one.. he picked this one, I didn’t think he would pick this one.. I thought maybe he would pick.. I don’t know.. I should have known though”- I moved hair back on the tattoo-

“Why would he do that?”- She gasped-

“He says I belong to him”- I bit my cheek-

“What?”- She yelled-

“Stop it everyone are looking”

“I know”- she lowered shoulders-“what is happening?”

“There is something I haven’t told you”

We heard footsteps, I turned around and saw him approaching us.

"Oh, great"- I rolled eyes

“Kali leave”

“No”- she looked at him- “you got a lot to explain”

“Kali”- his voice got louder- “now”- he said angry looking at me-

“You know you can’t scare me”- she got up-

“Leave!”- He yelled-

Everyone turned around and looked at us. Kali looked at me with some expression on her face I never saw before.

“No”- I got up and looked at him- “She is not the one going, you are”

He laughed. Kali looked at me surprised.

“No”- he shook head and pulled me by hand-

He pulled me away from the yard, everyone was watching at us now.  He didn’t stop until we were in the garden between the trees. He pushed me against the tree and looked into my eyes.

“You made me really mad when I went out of the tattoo studio and realised you weren’t there anymore.“

“Should I waited for you?”- I asked pushing him away-

It resulted only with him coming closer.

“You are going too far with this pretend”- I said looking him into eyes- “I don’t like it”

“Don’t lie”- he touched my neck on the same spot where he left a hickie yesterday-

“I can’t lie”

“Yes you can, you are not only angel but a demon too”

“But.. I couldn’t lie before”

“Because only angelic side was  in use, now I bet you are as much demon as much you are angel”- he grinned-“you need to stop running away from me”

“I will do as I want”

“Of course you will”- he buried his face into my neck and started kissing it-

“Stop”- I said feeling divided between head and body again-

He ignored me and continued kissing and biting my neck. Finally, I let myself to do as I wish, so I tucked my hands under his shirt touching his muscles.

“Are you two insane?”- I heard Kali-

Lucifer grumbled and looked at her while rolling eyes.

“You really must be, everyone just saw you arguing in the yard and what do you do, you go to the gardens and end up making out in the middle of the day, in open”

I looked at her thinking about what she just said. She was right, anyone could’ve come and they would saw us.

“She is right”- I pushed him- “this can’t keep happening”

“Kali, stop interfering”- Lucifer said angry - “and you”- he turned head to me- “don’t even think about it”

I rolled eyes.

“I am interfering?”- She shook head- “really Lu?”- She crossed arms-

He kept silence just looking at me.

“I am not saying anything about this.. Whatever it is … “   - she blinked- “just be careful like everyone else… If anyone from the teacher finds out..”

“You know better than anyone they can’t touch me”

“I am not worried about you”- she looked at me-

“You are right Kali”- I nodded- “We should go”

Lucifer pulled me back and kissed me.

“Will be seeing you around”- he whispered and flew up-

I leaned on the tree closing eyes. This demon will cost me my mind one day. I heard Kali laughing.

“What is so funny?”- I opened my eyes-

“You are so falling for Lucifer”

I rolled eyes but didn’t try to make her think otherwise, because honestly I figured it out too.

“No some sassy response?”- She pulled my hand-

“No”- I started walking away-

“So that means I must be right”- she followed-

“Please stop it”- I said while walking-

Next few days passed quickly, Kali didn’t stop teasing me about Lucifer. I didn’t saw Lucifer for days now, well I did see him but only for short time, on hallways, or yard in passing.  Every time I saw him he would wink or something like that, and every time I would remember the moment in the gardens. I had the constant reminder of him on the back of my neck.

Kali jumped on my bed waking me up.

“What is happening?”- I asked pulling blankets on me-

“Guess what is today?”- She pulled the blankets back down and looked at me-

“The day you will finally let me get some sleep?”- I wiped the eyes –

“No today is Friday “- she said enthusiastically-

“Dang”- I looked at her- “could we pretend I am sick?”

“Are you nuts? He would come here and take you either way”- she laughed-

“What is happening?”- Ever looked at us-

“Someone is going to hell today”- Kali said-

“Who?”- She got up from bed-

“Lily”- Kali got up too- “Get up we have to find you what to wear”

“What?”- Ever looked at me confused- “but why?”

“She is invited by Satan himself”- Kali said proud-

“WOW pause there, what?!” –Ever asked looking at me shocked-

“No time Ever, help us”

I got up and went to closet.

“I suggest something black or maybe red”

“How long are you even staying?”- Ever asked and sat on the floor next to closet-

“I don’t know”- I lowered shoulders-

“If I were you, I would take a few pieces”- Kali smirked- “who knows what can happen?”- she raised eyebrows-

“Is there something I don’t know?”- Ever asked-

I nodded.

“Not now, you need to get ready”- Kali opened the closet- “you will need something formal..d.. I mean Satan will probably want to have dinner and he is big on making them formal”

“How do you know?”

“I’ve been on few of them”

Ever looked at Kali weird, there is something between the two of them but I can’t deal with that today.

Kali took out allure blood red satin long a-line off shoulder dress.

“I don’t think I want to go with that”

“You will”- she put it on the bed – “you will be irresistible”

“Yeah”- Ever said agreeing-

“Fine”

I took out a crop leather top and matching short high waist pants and put them next to dress.

“Take this too”- Kali tossed me a crop blood red top and black puffy umbrella short skirt and sexy black nightingale –

“Are you serious right now?”- I looked at her pretending to be mad-

“Yeah I am “- she winked-

I put everything in a bag, added a bit of make up, necessities and went to shower. Once I came back I put on a long lace black dress I notice Kali wasn’t in there

“Where did Kali go?”- I asked curling up hair-

“I have no idea”- Ever answered- “you’re so pretty”- she came behind me-

“Thank you”- I smiled-

Ever helped me get finished when Kali walked inside.

“So you will meet at the yard at noon”- She said excited-

I nervously looked at her.

“I really want to bail it”

“I won’t let you”- she came and fixed my hair- “you look gorgeous”

“Thanks”- I got up- “should we go eat?”

Ever and Kali both nodded. As we were walking to cafeteria Ever decided to ask questions.

“I really don’t know what’s happening?”

“I will explain later”- Kali winked to me-

I smiled coy. We came inside and I only took an apple. We went to the table and found the boys already sitting there.

“Wow”- Dorian coughed looking at me- “that’s … you look amazing”

“Thanks “- I smiled-

They all started to talk about something while I couldn’t stop thinking. I was so nervous, where was I thinking? How could I ever fool Satan that I am dating his son? Not to mention, that same son can’t wait for a chance to be alone with me. I am afraid what might I do, I already established I can’t trust myself when it comes to him. Dang it, I haven’t even though about my mother, she is in Hell, who knows what will she do the next time she sees me. Yeah, I will admit I am afraid of her.
