Chapter 13. - The Contract

“Did you say..”- I felt a bump formatting in my throat- “Mother as in?”

“Your real mother, yea”- He continued pulling me into the woods-

I pushed him away.

“I will not go”- I said standing at the spot- “I don’t want to meet her, I don’t really want to know anything about her”

“You don’t get to pick”- He grabbed my elbow-

“Why are you even doing this? What do you get out of it?”

“I think I will keep that for myself just a bit longer”- he pulled me further-

I really hate this guy, he thinks he can do whatever he wants and get away with everything. Well not with me. I pushed him away and started running back. I will not meet her, according to Azazel she tried to use me and no doubt she will try again if I let her. I heard him swearing behind me but I kept on running. I heard fluttering wings and he landed in front of me.

“Move”- I said angry-

“Can’t win this one”- He grabbed me and flew up-

I started hitting his chest but he acted as if nothing was happening, soon he landed down next to a women dressed all in black. She had long black curly hair that reached all the way to her lower back. She was looking like she could pose for any magazine back on earth, yeah she was damn gorgeous. On her back were two black wings they weren’t so big but I knew she was strong, her whole personality was letting me know she was.

“Thanks Lucifer”- she smiled-

“I didn’t do this for you”- he frowned-

“I know”- she looked at me- “won’t you say hello to your mother?”

“You really think I will”- I crossed arms-“damn you are delusional, I thought demons were supposed to be more .. well realistic”

Lucifer laughed.

“She got tongue”- She said checking me out-

“Well “- I felt Lucifer moving- “I am going back to party”

“We will talk about this demon”- I looked at him pissed-

He grinned and flew away.

“Do you know who is he?”- she walked around me- “He is the next ruler of hell”

“So?”- I said looking at her-

“I like the attitude, shows that you are truly mine”- She touched my hair-“And the hair everything shows your real nature”

“My real nature?”- I laughed sarcastically- “let me guess now you’ll say that I am a demon more than angel”

“I am just saying the truth”

“Not interested lady”- I turned my back on her-

“What is that on your back?”- She asked shocked-“where are your wings?”

I turned around.

“My wings, you dare to ask about my wings?!”- The rage inside me was ready to take over –

I took a deep breath trying to calm down.

“Lilith what happened to you?”- She asked looking at me-

“Excuse me?!”- I looked at her bluntly- “what did you call me?”

“Lilith, that’s your name”

“No, my name is Aideen”

She clenched fist upset for some reason.

“Your name is Lilith, I gave you that name and that is your real name, not Aideen, Lilith”- She emphasize the last part-

“This is awesome”- I looked at her upset- “so you are telling me . my whole life…”- I bit my tongue-

“Tell me what happen to your wings?”

“What do you mean by that?”- I asked trying to process the fact that I’ve been lied to all this time-

"When I last saw you, your wings weren’t white, they were half white- half black”

"Well I found out recently my wings were ripped away”- I bit my lip pissed-

"Azazel”- she said his name like a curse-

"Well thank you for giving me a few more reasons to hate both of you”- I turned around ready to go-

“Lilith stop”- she appeared in front of me- “Whatever he said.. there are always two sides of stories.”

"And sometimes lady there is a third one that gives a damn about both of those”- I moved an inch back-

“It’s Carrie”

“What is ?”

“My name.. Listen I came to tell you that no matter what Azazel told you, it’s not all like he painted it out”

“Carrie”- I rolled my eyes- “I couldn’t care less about Azazel or you”

She took a deep breath.“Listen Lilith, I can tolerate your behavior only so much”- she grabbed my arm- “you belong to hell, not heaven, did you understood me?”

“And she finally shows herself”- I looked at her pissed- “what happened to caring mother, the one who said she likes my behavior and all that s**t”

„She is still here”- she grabbed my chin and made me look at her- “Everything I do it’s for you Lilith, you will see over time. Your destiny is already decided, you just have to accept it”

I kept silence, what is she talking about?

“I have to go now”- she moved and looked at me one more time- “by the way you are so beautiful, that dress looks gorgeous on you”- she smiled- “See you soon Lilith, don’t let them to shut down that fire inside you”- she said and walked inside the portal that just appeared.-

As she left I leaned on the tree. What the hell? Suddenly I felt so sad and it just hit me. I actually have nobody. My dad ripped my wings of my back and abandoned me, my mother tried to use me to gain power and Celeste and Tamiel lied to me. All of my life has been one huge lie, I wrapped arms around me feeling awful. Not even the name I had is really mine, Lilith, how original. I stood there for a while just thinking what should I do. My mind was still processing the things I just found out. What am I even doing here, I wiped the tears from eyes. I will not cry, no. I took a deep breath and started walking towards the party. I felt a sudden need to rip everything apart. They all think they own me, but they don’t. I may be angel and a demon but I will choose who I want to be. They don’t get to choose for me, not anymore. I will show them all who exactly are they dealing with. I spent minutes walking around and when I started to ask myself am I even walking the right direction I found myself in front of the building the party was in. I walked inside taking a drink. I drank it immediately and went looking for Kali. I found her dancing with Dorian and Finn.

“Can I cut in?”- I raised my eyebrows-

“Sure hot stuff”- Dorian smiled and pulled me –

I started dancing feeling the side effects of their alcohol.

“Where were you?”- Kali asked-

“On some really dull place”- I spin her around-

“You seem a bit.. drunk”- she smiled- “how much did you have tonight?”

“Not enough”- I looked at Dorian who had drink in his hand-“I like your drinks”- I took Dorian drink and drank it-

“Hey”- Dorian looked at me-“slow down a bit”

“Not intending to”- I spun around-

I just wanted to forget the fact I just meet my real mother and the things she told me. We were dancing for a while I noticed that Finn and Kali moved a bit and started making out. I pulled Dorian close and whispered in his ear.

“Did you ever find yourself completely destroyed by destiny?”

“What are you even saying?”- He laughed- “Aideen darling”- He wrapped arms around me – “You are completely drunk”

“No, no”- I shake head- “apparently Lilith”

“What? Who?”- He asked laughing- “maybe we should go to dorm-

“Dorian”- I heard familiar voice-

“Luci”- Dorian looked behind me –

“What.. No Lilith”- I said laughing-

“I will take over”- He grabbed my elbow-

“No”- Dorian pulled me back- “She is drunk Luci and needs to go to bed”

“So?”- He laughed- “You are finding yourself accountable for her?”

“No, it’s just..”

I looked around and saw Lucifer.

“It’s just..”- Lucifer looked at me- “How about you go over to Kali and the rest and let her over to me”

I felt him pulling my elbow toward him. I blinked, trying to realise what’s happening. I found myself in Lucifers arms.

“Come on”- He pulled me out-

“Where are you taking me?”- I tried to push him- “back to her?”

“No, just shut up for a second will you”

I felt a cool breeze on my cheek and realised he was flying and I was in his arms. It felt like a minute passed when we were back on the ground. He shook his wings and I sat the floor confused. He sat next to me and picked my chin up.

“Will you tell me what happened?”

“No”- I looked at the sky-

“Fine”- He sat there in silence-

We were just sitting there for a while when I felt him looking at me. I turned my head and looked at him and the emotions just overwhelmed me. I knew it was wrong but I also knew I had to do it. I got closer to him and started kissing him. Firstly, he acted surprised but then he started responding to it. He wrapped arms around me, one hand was on my left wing while the other one was on the right one. We were kissing there under the stars until we both needed to move to get some air. As I was moving, I saw a wide smile across his face. I laid down on the grass and looked back at the stars.

“so”- He started talking looking at me-

“Stop talking Lucifer “- I rolled eyes- “I don’t want to talk”

“What do you want than?”

“I want to .. “- I waved my hand- “I don’t even know.. silence maybe..”

He just laid next to me and kept silence. I liked it, just being there with him. I had so many emotions, so many thought going through my head. Who am I even? I am not human, not an angel and not even a demon. I thought I was Aide, but apparently, I am not. Who am I then? We spent hours there in the same position, my thoughts were starting to get clear, I didn’t feel so drunk anymore. I sat up.

“Where have you brought me?”

“I like to come here when I want to clear my head”

I looked around and only saw a big tree a little bit in front of us.

“Why did you bring me here?”

“You needed silence”

“You are right I needed it”- I nodded- “But that didn’t answer my question”

He got up, pulled my chin and started kissing me.

“No”- I pushed him away- “you don’t get to do that”- I got up –

“Why not? You liked it on earth and a while ago”

I shoot him a cold look.

“That’s just it right? You are used to get everything you want and I am the one you just can’t seem to have”- I grinned- “Of course how didn’t I get this before?”

“You have no idea what are you talking about”- He got up-“What did Carrie told you?”

“That’s none of your business”

“Actually it is”- He grinned-

“Really?”- I crossed arms- “Let me guess, the future ruler of hell needs to know everything about some ... what did you call me before hybrid was it?”

“No”- He smirked- “But I need to know everything about the girl who is promised to me”

“What?!”- I looked at him shocked- “Wait go back a bit.. I heard something wrong “

“No you heard right”- He laughed and grabbed my waist- “You are promised to me”

“By who?”- I felt anger building up again-

“Carrie signed a contract with my father when she was pregnant with you, in that contract she gave you up to me”

“No”- I shook head- “You are lying"

“If you doubt it we can go over to Hell so you can see the contract, I though Carrie told you yesterday”

“Well she didn’t “- I pushed him away and started walking towards the tree-

This can’t be right, I took a deep breath, it just can’t. How is this even possible I mean we are in 21st century that kind of s**t doesn’t happen anymore. No, no way. My head started to spin.

"It doesn’t matter, she signed it, not me she can’t promise me to anybody “

"She is your mother so she can, the contract can’t be violated”

I felt to the grass, what is happening, the world is crushing down around me and I can’t seem to do anything about it. He got to me.

“Lilith”

“Don’t you dare”- I shoot him a look- “don’t call me like that”

He stretched his hand to touch me but I moved back.

“Don’t touch me”- I screamed- “Go away”

He looked at me.

“Go away!”- I screamed-

He listened to me and flew away. I feel to the ground and started punching the ground around me.

“How dare she? Who does she think she is?”

I felt the tears in my eyes, Damn they all. The rage building inside of me all these days finally came out, I was so mad.
