Noah awoke feeling warm and safe. At some point somebody had removed his jeans and jacket, though he was still wearing the light shirt he’d had on under that. He had his head tucked down against Jack’s chest, which was a familiar sensation by now. The vampire always felt cool when they first cuddled up together, but after being skin to skin all night he was warm. There was a second warmth against his back, though, a heavy weight—an arm—draped over both him and Jack. Gabe, of course, and something about being between the two of them was just wonderful, in a way surprisingly different from his occasional heated fantasies.
