Noah spent all that day at Gabe and Jack’s apartment, recovering. Jack went out and got him takeout for dinner as well, and he ended up falling asleep early, still exhausted despite having done nothing more strenuous than order a few things over the internet. He woke again between the two of them, which he wouldn’t complain about at all, but this time he got up early enough to make his first classes. But when he set out with his backpack full of books, Gabe went with him, reiterating that he wasn’t going to let Noah be alone so long as Simon was out there. He took the backpack as well, and still feeling nowhere near a hundred percent, Noah let him without too much protest.
