Rowan and Ophelia had spent the night worshipping each other's bodies in every way possible and on every surface of the room. And it was much later in the night, after they had taken a shower together, that Ophelia had finally felt sleep overcoming her body as she had closed her eyes, snuggled against Rowan's body and slept. Rowan, on the other hand, found himself unable to close his eyes as she slept peacefully in his arms because he was afraid that he would blink and she would disappear again.
