When she woke up, she felt the bed sink a little around her. She panicked and immediately opened her eyes wide. She sat up in her bed, then pulled the blanket up to her chin. Levi was standing on the other side of the bed, smiling so widely. Brynlee was afraid the boy would not be able to close his mouth because his grin was too wide.
"Good morning."
"What are you doing here, Levi?"
She was a bit embarrassed by her overreacting. She was only afraid that Elyseen would sneak into her room and spy on her who was sleeping. She always had a bad habit of not locking her bedroom door because she was used to living alone and no one had ever intruded into her room. But from now on she would remind herself to lock her bedroom door because it was very important while she lived in Elyseen’s house.
