GETTING UNCOMFORTABLE

And that's their daily life. The closeness is like a brother. But lately, Malik seems to have changed and is confused about his feelings since Andi said he likes Isha. It is undeniable that Isha is indeed beautiful. Since Isha was in elementary school, she has been lovely. So, it is not surprising that in the past, when Isha was still in junior high school, she often told Malik that she had received love letters from her schoolmates. And Malik has always been the main editor, and Isha complains when she receives love letters. Of course, Isha only dared to tell Malik because her father and mother would not allow her to date in her teens. Like most teenage girls, Isha looks fierce when she meets those she doesn't like, and they instead send her love letters, likewise with Isha. Even though Malik advised them to remain friends several times, Isha still insisted on not being friendly. "Are there any ones you like?" asked Malik one day, long ago. Isha turned her head, looking up at Malik, who towered beside her. Incidentally, that day, Isha came to Malik's house to ask to be taught mathematics. At that time, Malik was already in the second year of high school, and Isha was still in the third year of junior high school. Receiving such a question, Isha shook her head. "Are you still being mean to them?" asked Malik, looking at Isha, who was copying her homework. Isha looked at Malik, then smiled awkwardly. "How can you be friendly? I don't like him." Isha replies with an irritated face. Of course, Malik laughed, seeing and hearing Isha's answer, which showed selfishness. Malik just ruffled Isha's hair happily. "Don't like it, no problem. It's called heart, right? It can't be forced. Just don't show it too much if you don't like it. If a man is hurt, he can justify it in many ways. You don't want to, do you? A guy friend who likes you is determined to do evil because of your attitude. You already rejected his love, plus your unfriendly attitude. Right?" asked Malik, advising patiently. "I'm not worried that they will do bad things to me," Isha replied, but she won't give up. "Isha? How can you possibly be confident like this?" asked Malik, frowning and half annoyed because it was challenging to advise Isha. "Why should I be worried? There are you who will always look after me, right?" asked Isha with her round eyes full of confidence and calm. Malik chuckled. "I can't keep looking after you twenty-four hours either, Sha," said Malik. "At least you can still take care of me." Isha still insists. Malik smiled. "It's hard to talk to you. Get ready quickly. I want to play football on the field," said Malik. "Can I come along?" asked Isha with an innocent smile. "No! It's a man's sport!" Malik refused firmly. "I am not playing ball? I was watching?" Isha is back stubborn. "No way!" Malik refused firmly. "Anyway, come!" Isha was not willing to budge. Moreover, she knows that Malik will always grant all his wishes. So Isha is sure Malik will not refuse her wish this time either. "There is Jonathan," said Malik spontaneously. Instantly, Isha scowled. Jonathan is one of the boys who sent love letters to Isha. Jonathan is the village head's son, still in first grade in high school. Jonathan is a handsome teenager and is quite mature in his attitude. However, because Isha is the model of a stubborn child, there are restrictions from her father and mother that she will not date until they finish college, so she ignores Jonathan. "Okay, don't come along!" Isha said curtly. "Why don't you come along? Aren't you just watching?" asked Malik mockingly. Isha pouts even more and finishes her schoolwork soon. Malik just laughed at Isha's attitude. "Eh, but Jonathan is handsome, you know, Sha. Are you not interested?" asked Malik deliberately to tease Isha. "Up to you! I don't want to hear it!" Isha barked. At that time, Malik could still make fun of and even laugh at Isha, who sometimes often got love letters from some of her school friends that Isha didn't even like. But now it seems Malik can no longer do that to Isha because he knows that Isha has reached adulthood, even though she is still a teenager. A side in her heart doesn't like it when boys approach Isha, especially guys like Rendra, who are arrogant and the most reckless in school. And that unsettled Malik's heart a little. *** Since the incident in the cafeteria, Rendra had not approached Isha openly. Malik felt slightly relieved because it meant that Rendra wasn't after Isha. Because, of course, it would be troublesome when he had to deal with Rendra. It's not that Malik is afraid of dealing with Rendra, who is the son of the owner of this school, but instead that he maintains his reputation as an exemplary student at this school. He doesn't want his excellent reputation to be ruined because of fighting or getting into trouble just because of a girl, even though, in this case, Malik doesn't battle for Isha but takes care of her. Just like this afternoon when he returned to meet Isha, who was already waiting for him in the corridor leading to the canteen for lunch. It seems like Rosminah was quite stubborn when it turned out that Isha was still bringing lunch for herself and Malik. Even though Malik is reluctant to Rosminah because of this, this has been going on for almost one semester. But Rosminah still made provisions for Malik. Then, accidentally, Malik's eyes saw that Rendra and his friends were also in this cafeteria. As usual, there were lots of girls sitting with them. Malik should be relieved because this will make Rendra no longer pursue Isha. After all, at least Rendra already has many girlfriends who are far prettier than this curt but innocent Isha. Several other students who filled the cafeteria paid attention to the closeness of Malik and Isha. Most understand their friendship, but few think Malik and Isha are lovers considering their similarities. "You are dreamy?" Isha asked when she had seen Malik eating silently for a few minutes. "Ha? Who's daydreaming?" dodged Malik. He continued eating the lunch that Isha always brought with him. Malik was reluctant because every day, Rosminah made lunch for him. Moreover, Isha always waits for Malik for lunch, regardless of whether Malik wants it. So that Malik is constantly forced to come to see the girl when break time comes. "That's you daydreaming. Why don't you say no? Or because Mom's cooking is not good?" asked Isha, guessing himself. "Eh, where is Aunt Ros's cooking not delicious? This is enjoying lunch from the future in-laws, satisfied?" said Malik. "Whoa! Who also wants to marry you?" Isha dodged with a red face because she was irritated at being teased by Malik. "How do you know later Aunt Rosminah will have another girl, right?" replied Malik, origin. "No way!" Isha snapped quickly. "Shh, people have more children; how come it's not allowed," Malik sneered. "Just not possible," muttered Isha. "I don't want a sister!" Isha insists. Malik smiled at him. Teasing Isha is the most fun thing that makes Malik smile alone. "So how about greeting Risna, Brother?" asked Isha suddenly. Malik, who happened to have finished eating, looked up at Isha. "What's up?" asked Malik. Isha stared at a handsome man in front of her. "How come? Yes, Brother, do you accept the greeting or not?" Isha asked, annoyed that Malik was being stupid like that. "Hey, kids aren't allowed to date, you know?" dodged Malik. "Does that mean you are willing to wait for him to grow up?" asked Isha in a half-whisper. "No! Don't be ridiculous, okay?" Malik threatened. Isha giggled at the sight of Malik's awkward face like that. They don't know; someone walks towards them with a charming smile and a carefully arranged plan. He is ... ***
