PICK UP TO CLASS

1328 Words
Malik is already haunted by his feelings about Isha's safety. It may be too much if Malik thinks about safety because, in general, it is clear that nothing threatens Isha's safety. However, Malik knows very well who and how Rendra is. So when the class ended, he immediately rushed to the front of Isha's grace which was a bit far from his style. Even though they are in the same building complex, their classes are pretty far apart because Isha is still in first grade while Malik and Rendra are in third grade. So here is Malik, sitting on the bench before Isha's class like a fool. What was annoying was that for some reason, Isha's class teacher this afternoon didn't immediately finish the lesson even though the bell had rung a few minutes ago. However, caring for Isha has almost become an obligation for Malik since they were young. What's more, the events in the cafeteria just now replayed in Malik's head, making him feel disturbed. But there is something that is no less disturbing than Andi's statement saying that he likes Isha. Malik unintentionally smiled wryly. Immediately, he remembered his conversation with Andi a few hours ago. "Was my conclusion wrong?" Andi asked when Malik said about Andi's conclusion that he likes Isha. "How could I possibly like that child? He... he's been my playmate since we were young. I consider him like my brother because our parents know each other." Malik denies Andi's accusations. Hearing that statement, Andi smiled. "But your worry is overblown. How could you forbid anyone else from coming near Isha? Isha is also pretty and cute like that?" Andi said, making Malik glare at him sharply. "Don't tell me you also have the desire to get close to Isha, huh? Because I won't allow you to approach Isha," Malik said threateningly. Even though Andi knew it was just a bluff, this proved that Andi's suspicions were even more correct. Andi then intends to prank Malik. "So what if I also want to get close to Isha? Nothing wrong, right? She's a girl, and I'm a single boy. Also genuine!" Andi added a statement that he is a genuine man, so clearly. Of course, Andi did it on purpose to provoke Malik's emotions. "No way!" refused Malik emphatically. Andi laughed at Malik's spontaneous reaction. "Come on, Mal. I know what you are doing is not just guarding because she is your childhood friend. But because you are obsessed with her, so that she will still be yours," concluded Andi firmly, making Malik speechless, unable to say anything else. Whether because of Andi's suggestion or because Malik was worried that Rendra would bother Isha again, here is Malik. He was sitting then, standing alternately, almost like a madman. Over and over again, he looked at his watch and clucked nervously. Most of the occupants of this school had scattered out, while Isha's class was still calm. However, Malik's wait was over when he saw that the teacher came out, followed by the students. Malik's eyes kept watching them. A relieved smile appeared on Malik's lips when Isha appeared at the door. The boy immediately approached Isha. "Hey, Sha!" called Malik with a smile as usual. Hearing her name being called, Isha turned and smiled broadly, seeing Malik already in front of her eyes. "Oh, brother is here already?" asked Isha in a lowered voice as she approached Malik. "On purpose, before going first with Rendra," Malik answered straightforwardly. "Why are you taking care of unimportant people like that?" Isha grumbled. Malik smiled. "Let's go home?" asked Malik. Isha was about to nod when Risna passed near them. Then, the nosy Isha called Risna. "Uh, Ris. Come here for a moment," Isha called while grabbing Risna's hand and bringing her closer. Malik frowned at what Isha did this time. "What's wrong, Sha?" asked Risna awkwardly. "He said hello to my brother. Well, he happened to be here, as well as acquaintances. Yes?" Isha was too nosy this time, so Malik had to widen his eyes at Isha. 'What's wrong with this kid?' asked Malik to himself. Receiving Isha's annoyance like that, Risna automatically blushed. Malik did not want to make other people's children more uncomfortable, so he stretched out his hand to invite Risna to meet him. "Meet me, Malik. Isha's brother is ignorant," said Malik. Isha spontaneously glared at Malik, but the man only smiled to calm his heart, which suddenly rippled, frightening him because Andi had imagined that he liked Isha. Risna, who seemed to have had a windfall, finally welcomed a helping hand without any introduction from Malik. "Risna," answered Risna when they shook hands. Of course, both Malik and Risna were surprised because when they shook hands, it turned out that Risna's palms were so cold. However, Risna's face turned bright red because she was embarrassed to be caught nervous. "Me… me first, huh, Sha. Excuse me, Bang Malik. Thank you for the introduction," said Risna before choosing to run away from Malik, or else she would be further humiliated by herself because of her body's embarrassing reaction. "Don't bother with your friends anymore. It's a pity that Risha's face is so red," Malik grumbled, taking Isha's hand as if he were holding his little sister, who was still a runny nose. Just like I used to do when we were both in elementary school, it seems Malik forgot that he and Isha are no longer elementary school kids. They are teenagers now. Of course, this embarrassed Isha, and she immediately withdrew her hand from Malik's grasp. "Brother, what's wrong? Shame on you," Isha said in a muffled voice. Malik laughed while letting Isha grunt in annoyance. Making Isha laugh and sometimes frown like this time was fun for Malik. Isha is indeed ignorant when it comes to her friends. But when she is with Malik, she is often bullied. Even though Isha always responded with an annoyed face, Malik was not deterred from doing it again. "Why did you pick me up to class earlier?" asked Isha when they reached the parking lot, and Malik handed her a helmet. "It is okay. I'm afraid you'll get lost and won't know your way home," Malik answered carelessly. "Where am I lost?" retorted Isha curtly, wearing his helmet. And Malik laughed again. "Come up! Later, Aunt Rosminah will worry that her dirty daughter won't come home," Malik asked, not wanting to be honest about why he had to pick up Isha to class this afternoon. "Let's fierce many who have a crush, you know?" Isha grumbles, full of pride. "They just don't know how dirty you are. If you know, yes, you will run away!" Malik could always refute Isha's words, irritating the little girl. "Let's be tough, too; you feel at home with me? It's been since childhood. Why don't you run away?" asked Isha. "Well, I do not have a crush…." Malik stopped his sentence. Instantly, he remembered Andi's conclusion earlier. "Are you sure you don't have a crush on me?" asked Isha with a big smile full of ridicule. Malik fell silent. Of course, he had a hard time finding the correct answer. What if what Andi said earlier was true, that he started to like Isha without knowing it? "Bang? Why are you quiet? Could it be that you have a crush on me? That's why you picked me up to class earlier?" mocked Isha with a wide smile. Instantly, Malik died of fleas. "Yes… yes… Big brother has a crush on you. Satisfied?" asked Malik annoyed because of Isha's taunts. But his heart was pounding with his thoughts. Malik fears Andi's conclusion will be a truth he doesn't realize. "Well, to be honest, I can consider it," said Isha ridiculously. "But later. If you don't want anyone anymore," Malik continued with a mocking laugh. Dug! Isha hit Malik's shoulder in annoyance. Malik groans but laughs. ***
