As we make our way back towards the city, I can barely keep my eyes open anymore. I am so exhausted, that I lean onto Silver’s neck, letting my head bounce with the pace of his walk. At least I don’t have to worry about making eye contact with anyone and spoiling our cover.
You still need to stay awake. You can’t fall asleep, no matter how tired you feel. It won’t do you anything good, at least until you get something to eat, Silver speaks to me in my mind, trying his best to keep me awake. I truly appreciate the effort, but I don’t want to listen to lessons right now.
